Much better than a video I saw that said NOTHING about what was going on. The text info you added is crucial. 👍

Hopefully everyone watching/doing this understands that using magazines as source material is fine for personal use, but if a piece created with most magazine images (or any item created using the resulting print made from that image) is sold (i.e., a commercial use of the source image), it becomes copyright infringement -- most modern magazine content is copyright protected.

What's the benefit to using Stazon under the white acrylic paint, as opposed to just using a dark color of acrylic paint to transfer the image?

Should we condition our plate with baby oil first? Would any color of Stazon Ink work?

It would be really lovely if the creator of this video would take the time to respond to the questions asked in the comments. I saw many questions, but no answers from the creator. And I can honestly say that this is the first time I’ve seen a video or a “short” in which the creator has remained completely silent amidst numerous questions from viewers. I hope the creator of this video will consider how much it would help viewers to have their questions answered. It would be beneficial for the creator as well bc I am much more prone to watch other videos made by creators who take the time to respond to questions than I am to those who do not. As much as I like this video and the technique that is shared, I am actually more confused than I was before I watched it bc I have questions that clearly aren’t going to be answered so I may as well have not even watched this video. It doesn’t take long to respond to people who take the time to view your videos. The viewers are the reason you have a channel with followers. Please consider answering questions asked in the comments.

The magazine must be glossy & have a lot of contrast in the image & even then not every magazine works. Just trial & error. Speaking of which, how much do magazines cost these days? Sometimes I use the plate to make a background & then use my printer to print an image over the background. You can use any image you like but it must be transparent if you want the colors of the background to show through the image. Either way it's a cool effect.

How does the printed paper transfer the ink? Do you need to put anything on the magazine paper first to help transfer the image?
