that is a very clean example of a legit z51 car. note to future viewers: the last quick ratio steering cars were very early 89's with z51 option. by june build dates in 89, no further quick ratio racks were ever installed. perhaps the corvette challenge cars. also note, z51 cars that were also optioned with the fx3 adjustable ride control were downgraded to the non z51 springs! including the anti sway bar springs. this is a huuuge consideration for buyers who are looking for a true track experience. the car posted here is honestly pretty rare nowadays. true z51 cars (non fx3) are what you want if you plan on track days or autocross. further note, the 1991 z07 cars, which took the place of the z51 option, not sure why gm changed that rpo, was an exception year where even the fx3 option cars had the stiff springs. only 91! hope this helps other newcomers to the c4 world. great video and that is a clean unique car in a great color! lets see more vids of this car

I bought a 40th anniversary about a year ago with 32086 miles in it. After driving it for 5 months the break master cylinder, and clutch slave and master cylinder went out because it never ran and the Dot 3 brake fluid ate up the lines. Had some vacuum issues and EGR + plus intake gasket replacement due to a rear leak. Brake caliper's all around plus new brake line hoses. The tires that came on the car were 1991! I still have the radio to fix and like the one you installed. Did you bypass the receiver under the passenger side? From what I've read mine maybe shot? so the speaker connection would have to be redone. I knew that a 1990 anything would have its challenges so no surprises there. Good luck with your build. Appreciate you taking the time to watch, it’s an atoto s8 and to my knowledge still has the factory Bose speakers in there.
