It’s sad that so many kids don’t know the fun of rural living. Great video, Carl. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks folks, I sure enjoy all your videos. Enjoy anything you want to post. Grew up on a farm many years back. You don't forget your young years and what it was like back then. 😊

My wife was just asking if there is a new vidoe from Carl and one appears. Riding that sled on the end of a rope looks like living on the edge. We used to do that but it was behind a lawn tractor and only on the street. As always, thanks for the updates and doing so well what you do!

Great to see you back. High tech with the RFID tags at Dyersville and low tech with the seed digging tool. It's all good. Nice to see you making memories with the kids. Stay safe and God bless.

Hi Carl! Great video! I went to Tremont winter conference and also became a dealer for Precision Planting recently!

That is awesome! Where is your dealership located?

My kids are grown up but they still love being pulled behind the ATV we use a canoe instead of a sled.

Thanks for the video.I love to catch up with what’s happening on the farm . Don’t you have hogs also ? Would like to see that part of the farm also . Thanks for sharing .

Thanks for watching, Robin! I traditionally don’t take my cameras in the hog barns. I may try to incorporate more pig related content if there is a desire for it.

When you deliver a truck load of grain and it's raining how does that automatic probe test moisture? it did not have a roof so wouldn't your corn/soybeans get wet?
@dodgebrothersfarmandranch9206 Жыл бұрын
The probe actually pulls the grain from the whole profile of the load so a light rain would have little to no effect. I’ve never been to this place in a downpour, but at the bean plant they will pause to wait for the rain to lighten up.

Wow your one cow was born in 2009. How many years do you normally keep them?
@dodgebrothersfarmandranch9206 Жыл бұрын
We keep them until they start to show signs of aging. That usually includes not breeding back on the first two cycles or having trouble keeping weight on while nursing a calf. Some are old at 10 and others are still young at 15. Those are the ones you want to build your genetics on.
