Yes I love my Porsches of course just the boxster was unpractical for what I want and need it for and wasn’t getting used it’s gone to a good home to someone like myself so I know it’s in good hands anyway. I have my 911 and I use that a lot more so it didn’t make sense for me to have the boxster

I really like the 2 tone oyster/black interior on my E70. Definitely wasn’t my first choice but it grew on me. It pops with the black exterior. E63/64’s are one of those “a face only a mother could love” type vehicles. Glad to see you working on BMW’s again though.

I had a couple of 635s back in the day and what you have owners have told me is the best car they've ever had. Totally agree you have to have what suits your needs. I'm retired now and my mid engined Porsche is gone too, but very interested in what you mentioned about the Cayenne handling as it may well be a future contender for my need and still be fun to drive.

@@frankreynolds4547 would go for 640d for better pull. Once tested 335i and thought it had no torque, you can rev it but that's unusable on public roads, so power low is where it's at and then you can tour 640d to France or Spain

No I wouldn’t be buying another V10 unfortauntely just don’t make sense financially in the Uk it’s just a unusable car and like the boxster it became something I never drove which only costs a lot more to maintain a car sitting around

I get that but I have to say it’s not worth it in the Uk the prices don’t go up and you invest all money into them to not get it back doesn’t make financial sense for me. Since driving Porsche there isn’t another car that can compare for me the 911 doesn’t handle aswell as my boxster in no way shape or form but I have to say it handles superbly compared to the M5 that was all over the place on corners I did race my friend in his M6 in my 911 a few weeks back and on the straights I was gone before he could even get into 3rd gear that smg gearbox is terribly slow and on the bends forget it I was already home when he was still 10 mins away which the corners where I am in the country are all sharp bends he tried to have me going up there and nearly lost control into a ditch as the bend is z bend so it’s very very bendy which he couldn’t take at the same speed as I could reason I didn’t do the video as we have too many snitches on here who will send the video to the feds and me and my friend don’t do feds otherwise I would of uploaded it however I do have the dashcam footage front and rear 😉 it was good and too think his car only has 60k on it and he’s done everything just couldn’t keep up with my 911 on the straights neither on the bends problem is for him he can’t afford to go to a 911 because of the running costs and the rebuild factor otherwise as he said he would. But I will say my Mercedes transmission has been remapped on my 911 and it’s got the AMG gearbox from the C63 and S63 so it’s lightning quick and bear in mind it revs to 7400rpm and the M6 revs to 8250 which isn’t a lot more especially with that smg gearbox even a manual would stand no chance mine is heavily modified fresh engine rebuild so it’s like factory new just the V10 is no match for the 911s well not my one anyway. I get it daily by BMW drivers to the point I have got bored of racing them now as I always win I really ain’t got nothing to prove my mapping has all been changed completely on the engine and gearbox and it’s got sport + activated on constant so it’s just lethally quick

Have changed to 5w40 like you said. I went from 1 liter every 700/1100 km at 5w30, now on 5w40 2500km 0,5 liter . And I change the oil every 3000 k , oil is cheap, an engine not so cheap.

7500km is enough, modern oils last longer than the old conventional

As myself own '08 650i and '06 530xi aswell, expected N62 (being so notorious with maintance so usually not recommended😂) but proved to be 630i (wonder it would lack a bit of power for a 2-ton car but kinda makes sense as e70 also got 30i...) anyway congrats from Korea👍

Interior color makes no difference. Just do a 35% window tint all around. Stays cool inside.

Your comment is void as my E60 is blacked out completely 5% tint and in the summer it’s so hot inside when you open the door it’s unbreathable so tints don’t make a difference at all. I also had my other car my E60 M5 same thing in the summer it was unbearable inside that one and I had the windows fully tinted to 5% didn’t make a difference that black interior is the issue especially as I leave them out in the sun
