I purchased 15 litres in it and went for 6 miles or 10km and I think it's nearly gone it might be running rich nut I definitely can't afford to keep it after restoration

I bought a 76 the day I finished serving in the U.S. Navy. My buddys made fun of me because it was considered an old mans car... But I loved it . After a couple years I put new tires & rims. Opened up the exhaust system and changed the intake a carb... It was my luxury hot rod...lol. I finally sold it in 1987 . I wish I had kept it . But it was taking up space in my garage & I had not driven it for 6 or 7 yrs. Wish I had kept it like many others I owned.

The American auto club in Ireland said they could get quarter panels for me but I might buy an English wheel instead You don't have a picture of it

@@harnesslife Wow...Im surprised you can get qtrs. Thats a real win... I'll have to look thru my old photo's & see if I have any pics. I raised the rear & put Cragers all around.. Fattys on the rear & slims on the front... That was the style back then. It had a nice rumble . I put headers on it dropped the exhaust out in from of the rear tires... I changed the intake & carb , but I dont remember what I dropped in it... It was a beautiful ride . Best part was the interior ...it had A.C., power windows , cruise & a kick ass stereo.. One of my friends ended up with a Buick wagon . (Vista Cruiser). In those days wagons were not cool... But we tuned on it & made it a cool ride.. Id love to find one of those ...

something different for sure. if you don't restore it, another older car would be nice to see being restored if worthwhile 👍
