I just bought one of those last week for $700! It had been rolled but the only real damage was the steering stem, master cylinder, and the front plastic. It scared the kid pretty bad and he was just done with it. It ran, had a 416 kit with a high compression piston, DG exhaust, widened two inches, and really didn't need anything else. Great quads when they're cared for. I can't wait to see the Michael Sabo series if it happens!!!

I bought an 01 400 Ex last winter for a flat of beer. Then traded the quad straight across a few months later for a Tremec T56 transmission for my car. I’d value the trans at about 3k. Did alright in this deal.

I guarantee my 400ex was the cheapest on the planet,$125 but it was missing some things like gas tank,plastics,carb,exhaust,rims and tires,spark plug,cam sprocket bolts,bent valves from someone cranking it over without cam sprocket bolts,handle bars and needed a wiring harness
