| great video. I was actually surprised when KZbin recommended this video right after I finished looking for an a6500 on Amazon. Is it worth to upgrade? I'm an a6000 user. 🤔

It's definitely an upgrade from the 6000, but whether the upgrade is worthwhile will depend on your use. I believe the 6500 is better in a number of areas such as 4k, stabilisation etc.

Can these be used with USB charging? The NP-FW50 are really weedy and the battery life for the a6xx cameras is notoriously crap. My a6000 eats batteries and that only does HD!

Yeah. I recorded every clip from the 6500 whilst charging via USB. The battery was still in (better safe than sorry), but the charging indicator was on the whole time. You can see this at this point kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKa1c6Soh716hKM Are you using the official batteries or third-party?

It's an alright camera for webcam setups. I never use mirrorless cameras much relying on the batteries alone. It's why I always take power banks, or use a dummy battery.

@@matdemaz I have it set up with a USB cable continuously charging it so it should be ok.

@@KevinMuldoon | surprisingly, third party batteries last longer than the ones from Sony. I think that depends on the manufacturer.

@@KevinMuldoon I heard you talking about the a6500.. could you give me the timestamp for when you talked about the a6600 thanks

@@FLOODOFSINS It's near the start when I'm talking about the camera. I didn't talk about it extensively. I just referenced the fact the 6100,6400, and 6600 are out. I did look at the 6400 a lot, but the 6500 is better in many areas. What are you using?
@laurencegr99785 жыл бұрын
| yeah and it's priced around twice as much as the a6500. I was surprised to see brand new a6500s from our local store priced at $850.

@@laurencegr9978 That's a fantastic price, especially when you consider the price of the 6600.
