This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. Strong BUY. Still early innings. NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.
@rogerwheelers43222 ай бұрын
Problem is that NVDA is addicted to the datacenter, their mobile offerings are terrible. Inference needs to happen at the edge (mobile) and training will not have the same amount of demand as time goes on. NVDA is a major bet on aggregation of resources (compute) but this is cyclical as we have seen dozens of major shifts in this industry. Remember when Citrix aggregated desktops with VDI and then it imploded because VDI has a problem with latency? AI Inference in the datacenter has the same problem with latency. AAPL and Samsung are the best buys for AI now that we are transitioning from training to inference.

Here’s why Walmart’s feature isn’t a threat to Visa or Mastercard: Americans are addicted to debt. They’d rather borrow from their future selves using credit cards and ‘buy now, pay later’ services than to see their checking account take an immediate hit at the cash register. Combine that with the marketing techniques of the credit card companies and general lack of cash on hand for the average American, Visa and Mastercard are here to stay.

It would be great to see a video where you pick a mix of ETF's and set up your percentages to put in a fixed amount each week. I would love to see what you would pick and how you would set up your pie's if you were to only invest in ETF's. I love your content. Thanks!

The funny thing with Walmart and how useless it is. If it works and theyre able to bybass let's say the 5% fee of visa. Are they gonna lower all their prices of 5% for the customer or are they gonna keep the price normal to increase their margins of 5%? Let that sink in, cause we both know the answer. So yeah, useless.

I don’t think any government official should be able to calmly say we’re in a good spot until we (the U.S.) are able to save more than we’re spending. At the rate we’re incurring debt, we’re practically a financial joke to anyone serious about proper accounting and money management.
@callumdabomb2922 ай бұрын
That requires raising taxes and cutting government programs, ideas which are very unpopular with the public

Market price actions is mainly made by institutional investors and edge funds, which supposedly have experienced and skilled people to manage their portfolios. The inconsistent reaction to the rate cut casts serious doubts about their competence.

Walmart is wasting their money and energy on this gimmick. Customer's love the convienience and security of a credit card transaction. They will have to heavily incentivise customers to use this. As a result, their margins will be neglibible from this.

In Europe it is state of the art to pay directly with bank account at supermarkets and other stores. But Mastercard has a debit card functionality that is used by paying directly with one's banking account. So it is no danger for card companies

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

The S&P500 trades at a 37x Shiller P/E. Annualized 10-15-year real returns from anything above 25x have been under 4%, every time, everywhere. We have had 15 years of mostly 0% rates with no inflation, the Fed balance sheet has expanded from under 1t in 2007 to over 9t in 2020, there have been corporate tax cuts, no real recessions, ballooning debt... None of that is repeatable over the next 10-15 years. The only question is how many of those things will be reversed. And that is why there is no instance in history of any real returns from such idiotik multiples: what is baked into them is unrealistic and the conditions that produced them are unsustainable. So for somebody like you, who only invests in the same large cap American businesses as almost everybody else, I don't know what is there to be happy about given history, unless you expect this time to be different.

What are your thoughts on BKNG after the the EU court is attacking its business model? Do you think it can affect its long term development?
@cqgator2 ай бұрын
Gotta hard disagree with your pro-inflation take, Joseph. When the government uses inflation to deal with its debt, the actual burden of the debt hasn't disappeared; it's merely shifted onto the shoulders of the citizens whose savings and purchasing power are diminished. Any level of inflation undermines economic stability, for businesses and especially those on fixed incomes or with limited savings. Our country needs to implement sound monetary policy and fiscal responsibility, which has felt like a pipe dream more than anything recently.

In Europe, we have been using debit cards for payments for decades. The balance is updated immediately. Credit cards are hardly used. And being overdrawn is often not possible. Walmart's solution is no more than logical.
