What a lesson you have just taught me. Father Meeks is my pastor, and I fail to do for my own pastor what you were doing for an internet preacher and that is to name him intentionally everyday in your prayers. Thank you Father Meeks for your homily just before Lent begins. Anger brought me to hate the politicians who use “Choice” to mean pro Abortion. That Hate brought me back to Confession after approximately 25 years. I was overwhelmed at what I wished would happen to some Pro Choice Advocates. The homily ‘to Love one an other as I love you’ and ‘love your enemies’ made me realize how far I had fallen into the abyss. Confession returned me to the Words of GOD 🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊🕊🙏🏻🙏🏻

A good homily to begin Lent. It is a hard thing to love one’s enemies (not simply ‘not hate’ them). For those of us who are rightfully angry with church prelates who continue to allow abortion and predation, Fr. Meeks’ words starting around 18:00 minutes are a helpful reminder. Love for our enemies- including abusive spiritual fathers such as Pope Francis and far too many bishops- is always rooted in Truth and our own salvation depends on it. It is also heartening to remember we DO have some faithful priests still- seek them out and pray for their protection and courage.

I am a member of SSPX but i am impressed by this sermon --- it has helped me --- thank you --- in 2020 my 87th birthday fell on Ash Wednesday -- I am now in my 90th year --- with 42 years of medical neglect --- the NHS does not know what it is doing --- I qualified as a therapist in 1957 --- I learned from my mental patients that no two humans are alike and should never be put into categories --- all are created in the IMAGE of God --- LIKENESS was breathed into Adam who promptly lost it --- LIKENESS was breathed into the Apostles at Pentecost --- and it is restored by the sacrament of Baptism --- our Lord Jesus Christ alone is the Head of His Church --- He will not allow the gates of Hell to prevail --- despite the smoke of Satan in the Vatican --- Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for the last five popes --- and especially for Benedict XVI who, I believe, could consecrate Russia to your Immaculate Heart.

i should do the best i can do. if someone strikes me i will suffer the humility of turning and walking away. me not killing my agressor is me loving my enemy. me not returning mistreatment is me loving my enemy. me not requiring payment of a debt is me loving my enemy. Jesus is perfect. I am not required to be perfect. I am called to be faithful and obedient. My selfishness is to not take a life. My selfishness is to pray for my enemies. Forgiveness begins with me forgiving myself. Admission that I can never be "perfect" is my vulnerablity.

This is a question I asked the Lord today, I'm really struggling to find love. Right now I'm overwhelmed with sadness and helplessness when I see the innocence of my three tiny grandchildren knowing what I know is going to happen. I want to see them all grow into amazing people and live full lives..but theres evil working against that. And yet God asks me to love them. I'm trying

Heartfelt and such sincerity from this sermon. The Holy Spirit was working in you to guide our heart to Jesus Christ To Holiness. Our Brothers especially Monks and priest have been unfortunately scared by ones they trusted thought 💭 it was safe (church home). The Holy Spirit can save because I/we fall short of glory. This vessel we have on this earth is sinful against Our own Brothers and Sisters in Christ when we are not honestly saved in Jesus Christ name. 🙏🏽📖😇

Such Passion Truth and Love Always comes from The Pradocle child or converts to the True Apostolic chruch as yourself, Fr Meek- as I a Pradocle child raised in the Catholic Church by so called, ‘nuns‘ - Knew a big fat zero of Faith and little of Christ !! I so enjoy listening to brother Meeks sermons and today's especially. And in the spirit of brotherly love, I must ask as a Protestant, why the Catholics hold us in such derision because we refuse the Papacy and the worship of Mary. It's called intolerance. I had to chuckle when brother Meeks said..."Can I get an amen?", he sounded like a Baptist preacher for a moment! If there's anything we Christians need to do, it's dissolve the self inflicted division amongst us. Because I recognize and worship ONLY the Holy Trinity and not Mary and a host of man named saints or a Papacy....that doesn't mean I find Catholics repugnant. I just disagree with your theology, but love you as brethren...I rarely find a Catholic that returns the sentiment. We're all awaiting the return of our risen Savior, Jesus. Let's love one another in anticipation of His return and millenial kingdom.

Just to correct a few things that might ease your mind a little bit : We Catholics do not worship Mary , we do not worship saints . We only worship God and God alone (the triune God ,Father Son and Holy Spirit. The pope is the leader of our church on earth . He is only infallible when he speaks on the teachings of the Church regarding faith and morals S .ounds as if there might be anger on the parts of the people in these conversations with you. I am sorry that you have been treated so badly that you feel derided . Have you ever spoken to a Catholic priest about these questions ? I am sure he would receive you lovingly and answer any other concerns you may have . I , personally , know of no one in our parish community that would deride you or make you feel badly about any of your issues with our faith . You would be much better off if you got information from a priest . A lot of misinformed people have to get their answers for you from the right source . I love your sermons, Fr. Meeks, but my answer to this one is, indeed, "I just can't." More so, I won't. Our enemies *Khazar/FM are crushing the life and spirit out of us, our children and elderly, and I will not even detest them, for detestation is far too tepid an emotion for what I feel for them. We are mere mortals! We are not Jesus! Asking us to mimic Jesus' selflessness is absurd. The best we can do is not be the first to offend, the first to attack. There is too much contradiction in this beautifully delivered sermon. We are made in the "image and likeness of God" - doesn't that mean we resemble him physically? Where does it say we are made in the "perfection of character of God!" I'm convinced the glut of "dishonorable" priests is a fabrication of the Church's greatest enemy: Khazar/FM.
