Even though I am Catholic, I find it hard to believe this man is a Catholic priest. His homilies are too good.

You need to come to a traditional Latin mass parish. EVERY sermon is like this. Seriously. I spent my first 52 years in Novos Ordo parishes. I had no idea how it was supposed to be.
@Alwayslearnimg2 жыл бұрын
@@bonniesammons2348 I actually would love to come to one but I don’t know exactly where the closest one is to me. I have been even before I became Catholic. And that stuck in my mind for decades hell some thing special felt like it was happening there. Although I still feel it with the Novus ordo.

Great message. Focus on Christ, and being faithful to Him in the days we are living in. It is always darkest before the dawn, and the Son is coming. Our blessed hope and his glorious appearing!

Thank you for making the point that eschatological study and apocalyptic scriptures are not meant to identify the date and time of Christ return. Rather they are meant to encourage and incentivise the church to be ever more vigilant in our work and service to God, the church, and the community at large.

Wow, Fr.Meeks, you are a wonderful preacher. We must pray for more priests of your fervour, faithfulness & courage in proclaiming the Gospel. You are decisive , strong , energetic and committed. That is what I like! No fudging the issues. No desire to be popular. Simply being a loyal and faithful servant of Christ. Alleluia.

Another great reminder how easy it is to get sidetracked from the daily purpose and mission of Christians. At the end of the day… And even at the end of the world… Do the works that God has prepared in advance for you to do.

I can't honestly call myself a practicing Christian and certainly not a Roman Catholic but I admire and respect this man. He speaks truth and promotes the humility and decency on which our society was built but which as been trashed by people who consider themselves superior to their fellow man.

Jesus is Lord of the sabbath the Pope is Lord of Sunday when the Sunday law comes in which Lord? will you serve already in Australia if you make a noise on Sunday on a building site you can fight fight fines or jail. Jesus point you to the book of Daniel the book of Daniel clearly states the man of sin will think to change gods law and time the 1940 catholic catechism states exactly that that the Catholics changed it from the sabbath to Sunday without any scriptural evidence a magnificent document. Written by the Catholic Church Romes challenge completely makes fun of all the Protestant churches keeping Sunday they even bring up every text in scripture that contains the first day of the week and go through it in great detail it is quite amusing they call it the Protestant cherished cheese

'Come again?' At 2:47 you say "...what is important to say..." At 'mass'? Think again. Or maybe you ...? Here's the explanation. You don't need a degree in theology for this. Rather... What else is meant but “worship of the creature rather than the Creator” when, at the very moment of the miracle of Transubstantiation, the moment when God actually and physically takes the place of mere bread, the moment when He is really present upon the altar: at that exact moment, the Novus Ordo seduces the people into making the blasphemous and total rejection of His Presence: “Let us proclaim the mystery of faith: Christ has died"(is not present); Christ is risen"(One can hear the echo. "He is not here!" of the angelic words at the Resurrection.); "Christ will come again" (thus, completing the most explicit rejection of the Real Presence of God upon the Altar that is possible to imagine). No wonder then, communion in the hand, and seemingly much of the world going....in a hand basket... Kyrie eleison.
