5:24 What we see here, is an Australian GM owned Company, known down here as "Holden", the Holden Company itself, being an Australian Engineering Company, bought out by GM's Comercial Arm,snd started to manufacture locally produced Cars in '48, instead of importing the U.S designed and made ones, and incuring large import duties. The Model seen here, is an "FC"or "FC" produced in Melbourne or Adelaide, from 1956-58, I beleive. Great to see Australian content, getting a run on your Channel, Max. Thanks mate!!

@ 7:22 the 59 Pontiac, driver must have felt pretty safe with 10 ft of detroit steel in front of him and another 10 ft behind him, those cars were huge and heavy but they must have been powerful to still take the checkered flag. Another great video, thankyou.

Wow a very dapper Roger Penske @ :21 in his racing "penny loafers", he had to be the best dressed racer ever. I doubt that big old 1963 Catalina even had power steering those cars were huge...

Right off the bat at 0:02 we have former Indy Car driver Wally Dallenbach in the Dick Barney Olds powered coupe probably at Old Bridge in New Jersey. The Barney family is still involved in racing today with a red #14. Always great cars. Dallenbach never a slouch either.

At 1:22 One of the famous Ed Bowley F5 machines. This time at the Norwood Arena in Massachusetts with Smokey Boutwell behind the wheel of this Studebaker. Bowley had all sorts of race cars for a very long time and one thing they all had in common, they were fast. Bentley Warren drove Bowley's Super Modifieds to many wins all over the country.

At 5:54 I'm gonna got out on a limb here and say this is former national NASCAR Modified Campion Eddie Crouse from Glen Allen, Va. sitting in the infield of what I think is Bristol Motor Speedway in the mid 1960's. I've seen other photos of the Modifieds there so, maybe, this is too.

Sorry for being so long-winded but some of these pics need some perspective, the white 57 Plymouth at :10 is a Hot Rod Magazine creation called Project X, with early Hemi power they ran it on the beach at Daytona and at Bonneville in the top speed runs, I'm sure they competed in other events but I can't recall right now.
