The Serie A is really underrated. It is very competitive and very close between the top 8 teams.

I don’t think that is underrated, obviously serie a is not at his best at the moment, but one time was the most difficult and important league, even more than la liga or premier, as ronaldo says in an interview with inter
@GianmarcoFabbriciani2 жыл бұрын
I'm Italian, and I ensure you that it's not. Napoli is the only good team among the the big teams right now. Juve is weak af and still somehow got to the 4th position, without considering small teams that are serie b level (no joke), slow rythm, no skills nor tactics, when I watch la Liga or Premier I see many good times even in low positions. cremonese, Sampdoria, Verona, lecce, spezia, salernitana, Empoli they all deserve to get relegated instead, every year, teams don't thanks to other bad teams who barely reach 20 points at the end of the year
@gibullian362 жыл бұрын
@@GianmarcoFabbriciani thats straight up wrong lmao the lowest point total ever was salernitana with 31, who have also invested well in their squad this summer and are looking really solid. Inter, Milan and Napoli are all solid champions league squads, and juve are looking really good in the past month, lazio are a bit inconsistent but also are lethal on their day, the fact that good squads like sassuolo and fiorentina are struggling shows just how competitive the league is. Theres also teams like Roma and Atalanta that have the potential to compete for titles in the future and some great pieces. Just because you are Italian does not mean you have any clue what you are talking about. Serie A is literally the 2nd most invested in league behind the prem in both wages and transfer fees. There's no way your delusional ass thinks teams like Almeria and Cadiz who play some of the worst, most ugly to watch football are better than fun teams like Empoli and Cremonese who focus on pushing through youth and giving bigger teams a tough time (not to mention they also have much higher quality players than their laliga counterparts, not an opinion, laliga teams outside their big 3 haven't been able to spend money on transfers for years)

Serie A is so underrated, sure the teams aren't at the height they were in the 2000s but they are rebuilding. The reason why it's so underrated tho is because it's probably the best Football you'll see. Italian Tifosi are always brilliant, even when you just watch from TV. The league is the most competitive in the world, Nowhere else do you have 4-6 teams fighting for the Top, sometimes even until April. Serie A makes a good League because it gives you the best of what football is all about. Fans, Competitiveness and pure joy

Atalanta should be doing well with billionaire Stephen Pagliuca a private equity investor and co-chairman of Bain Capitol that also co-owns the Boston Celtics and is the majority shareholder at Atalanta who has £160bil of assets to his name, twice that of Man City owner. The guy is the favourite to take over at Liverpool. It wouldn't surprise people if Atalanta dominates Italian football at some point in the future.
@demonbox772 жыл бұрын
It will never happen, and I mean the "dominate" part, I grew up less than 1 km from the Azzurri d'Italia (now Gewiss), Pagliuca brought in indeed a lot of investments, but the city is small and very close to Milan, there simply isn't a big enough pool of people to maintain it at the top level for years. Even now that they are doing great half of my friends are for Inter, Milan or Juve and again population is a factor Bergamo is roughly 120k people.

@WhiteHartDane2 жыл бұрын
@@Micfri300 I thought it was quite boring in the 80's and part of the 90's when one goal often was enough to win games. So for the neutral viewer it wasn't great unless you're really into the tactical side of the game, or you are like Gianni Brera, who thought that the perfect game had no goals in it (no goals = no mistakes made).
@Micfri3002 жыл бұрын
@@WhiteHartDane the 80s and 90s serie A was levels above present day premier league. Football should be about superior technical/tactical quality winning out over physical qualities. The only issue with going to Italy to watch a game is finding someone to drag me out of whatever restaurant I stumbled in to 3 hours before. I do have to say, I don't get the large flag waving (doesn't it block the game?) and the flares ( blinded by the light and smoke inhalation) but fair play, seems to be an accepted part of the Italian game and of course waving a bigass flag around for 90 minutes means you work up an appetite for more food !

I’ll pass that suggestion onto them for sure! To be clear though Ellis and I have the same stance, we’d never take tickets in place of genuine fans. This allocation would have been available via BT Sport and as you saw wasn’t in the fan sections. It’s the reason you’ll never see me at derby marches or generally big games as I feel it’s the fans that deserve it first. Your intention has worked. I can change thumbnail to something more appropriate. What would you suggest?
@s1lv3rr2 жыл бұрын
@@smivadee hi, thank you for your answer and for your patience and tolerance towards me. The gesture shown at the beginning of the video is wrong, because it has more the meaning of a request, a question, it means: "what are you saying?". The correct gesture that has the meaning of "excellent food" and by extension any situation in which you want to indicate a wonderful thing of great quality, would be (in my opinion) to bring the hand in exactly that pose, almost touching the lips simulating a kiss, with a facial expression of wonder and ecstasy. I know it seems complicated and unreasonable, but gestures (a much more widespread habit in southern Italy than in the rest of the country) have precise and codified meanings. Sorry for the length and pedantry, I hope this explanation is useful to you.
