I went on a six-week solo trip to Southeast Asia this year and I had the exact same experiences you did! I feel so much more independent and confident in myself and my decisions, and it has made me appreciate my own country and city so much more! Navigating airports and train stations and public transport in countries where English is not widely spoken really shows you that you are capable of SO MUCH. And of course, the friendships made on a trip like this are truly wonderful as well. I am so glad that you had such a wonderful experience, Jade! :)

This will help me so much at uni next year and in life in general. I am so so so happy I decided to take a gap year! Keep trekking and thanks for your simply awesome video!!!

I did the same, accidentally went solo-travelling for the first over several weeks a few years ago because nobody had the same holidays as I did. You change. In the the best ways. I learned to let go, to rely on myself, I learned that most people are kind and want to help you and not the opposite. I learned that solo travel is splendid because you can go about your own rhythm and to just talk to people and, indeed, say yes more. Every single time I go travelling I write a detailed plan and give up on it in the first 2 days and just go with what feels right. I am so glad you had this experience!! It also breaks the barrier - now that you went on solo travel you know you don't have to wait around for other people to see the world with you. Xx

I only began traveling when i took a job with an international family as a nanny 4 years back and they took me along with them. Before that traveling was never quite on my mind because no one else was ever available. But last year I took my first two solo trips actually (Europe and Australia) and even though I've found your vlog after the fact, the way you backpacked and did hostels and met so many wonderful people was so inspiring! Love it. If more of us traveled solo at a young age, we'd have societies with a whole new more positive perspective. Keep up the travel girl!

thank you so much!! I've always wanted to do an interrail by myself when i finish highschool but am still trying to convince my parets. Now, they've been following your journey with me, and i think to see a responsible and positive girl like you traveling through europe alone reassured them (and me lol) that i can also do it! love you jade!! kisses from portugal

This video really inspires me! I have always wanted to go to Interrail, but I wasn't sure is it good idea go alone. Now when I have seen your story of solo traveler I got more courage to leave alone. Thank u for sharing your experinces of your trips!

I enjoyed this video so so much! *You are such an inspiration Jade xoxo* Normally, when I travel, I'm not extremely active and tend to just sit in my accommodation with my computer and write or read or anything passive, but these vlogs have inspired me so much and given me so much more of a wanderlust and I am now super excited for my next adventure! Thank you so much for all the incredible vlogs, I love hearing about your travels xxx love you, Jade!

I’ve been watching a lot of your videos. Mainly because I love what you do and how you’re more spontaneous than most people your age. I love this video and all the videos you’ve taken about traveling abroad and meeting new people. It encourages me so much to do the same. Can’t wait till I’m able to. Keep making these good videos!

Great to see someone sharing experience about Interrail trip. I also won the pass and traveled around Europe and feel like a different person. It really is life changing and I´m so so glad I did that and traveled alone.
