Mate, look at the age and build up of that wall. It does not need dry rods or whatever other rubbish you've but on it. It needs sand and lime, that's it! Come on have a think!

Sbr cement is also going to kill that building. Why do you think the joints are soft? They are soft for a reason it's lime and needs to breath!

Yeh I’d love to be coming back week after week applying sand n lime until it’s the right thickness, I’m sure the customer would love the massive bill for my time and materials to.
