Brah im from Cali and i myself travel to vietnam twice a year for almost 5 year straight and haven’t stopped but I know this for a fact is the humidity there is year round and doesn’t change with season what so ever and seeing china mac with his sweats suit on and not be hot and sweating makes me jealous, probably I’m just not conditioned to adapt to the enviroment. Most foreigner would be stripped down to their boxers the moment they exit the airplane being so humid and on top of that most places in vietnam including homes are not equipped with air conditioning so for you that found a spot that are equipped with AC is a luxury and its the newer modern style unit compare to the old long bar style that you would see in their local hotel room. That being said, being harrassed by the locals is common and they mean no harm and it’s to be expected no different then a man doing what he have to do to provide for his family. Im a nobody, not famous, nor do any vlogs of any kind, I just travel and like to see the beauty of the country so I would highly recommend these places for you china mac. Phu Quoc, Ca Mau (part of the Mekong Delta region), Nha Trang, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hanoi, and SAPA. Enjoy your stay in Vietnam man, it’s a big transition and even a bigger one to adjust to the culture let along the law of the land.

I just found your vlog, and watched you enter VN and meet your apartment landlord rep. Not speaking Vietnamese will be difficult but there is a Chinese section of Saigon in the southern part of the city called Cholon (big market) where most of the residents (or many of them) speak Cantonese. I learned Vietnamese in 1964 in the Army Language School in Monterey, CA, a 47 week course, six hours per day. I was stationed in VN for 30 months from 1965 to 1967, and later used the language in my family live and in historical geography studies (M.A).
