thank you. now listen this is just a theory but it seems to me that most people need their soul to create meaningful music etc, and when you sell your soul, well it's not yours to use as you please... so everybody, or most people give up, crap out, play that hit forever...etc etc. think of all the fucking junk the mainstream pushed at me in my life... i watched it all crash and burn, well, in the eighties there was that shit where you hang on and get cheesy... anyway, i never wanted anything so bad as to make a trade. in fact, i knew that if i stayed in one spot, the me spot, the world would come to me, and i would do very well indeed by simply not selling out, not selling my soul. and so i have.... take care.

@@peterhobart6109 when I fancy a peace of Our Syd I usually go straight to Piper or a Saucerful of Secrets ... I would love to think that Syd influenced most of Relics even tho' he only wrote Arnold Layne, See Emily and Bike with contributions to Interstellar, the rest being mostly Wright and Waters .. I knocked on his mums door in Cambridge once just after a Strawberry Fair and she said "fack off! Syd's not here" but then I heard a warbly voice in the background asking "who's that?" .. Madcap is great too
