Just watched this movie and it was devastating. Personally, I felt it was devastating because it was not just about what his character goes through but all the brokenness and broken lives of the people who loved him left in the wake of his choices.

I just watched The Whale with my daughter at the movie theater and I didn't think that I could love Brendan Fraser more than I already did... But what a performance by Brendan Frazier!!! The entire cast is amazing!!! Go see it, bring a box or two of tissue!!!

I was an extra in the movie Loony Toons with Brendan Fraser in Las Vegas, he was really funny and seems like a nice guy to me. I'm really happy he is making a comeback I've missed him! I can truly relate to his character in this movie.

Finally someone who acknowledged Sadie Sink in this film. Yes she should get a best supporting actress nominee. Of course you got Brendan Fraser I know he'll be incredible but Sadie Sink is the breakout star of the year with this and especially Stranger Things Season 4. I love how I don't know much about the film besides it's gonna be about the relationship between an overweight father and his daughter.

It's about time Encino man got his kicks. Dudes been one of my favorite actors since I was a little kid and I'm 33 now. The second I saw the trailer I had to send it to everybody I knew. I could tell it's going to be something amazing, can't wait to see it in theater. This movie is straight up the equivalent to Red Dead Redemption 2. Hands down, the best thing ever. It really makes you think about everything that’s been going on in your life. The performance of a lifetime, Brendan Fraser should be in more movies. I don’t usually cry for movies, but this movie changed my perspective. Some people aren’t careless about themselves because they just eat and eat. Something happened that broke them, to the point where they don’t care. You can’t let that happen, but it happens to the best of us, when you think it won’t ever. This movie became my top 3 of favorite movies of all time. I just fucking love it. Brendan Fraser should become the best actor of all time for giving out such an amazing performance.

Excellent film. Yes, the performance was elite -- dramatic acting at its finest. Could you believe an actor this talented, this dedicated, was nearly tossed out of Hollywood??? A masterpiece? 100%. Every single line in the film, including the lecture to his students and including the essay she reads, all have deep meaning. Even this image at the beach. The script was brilliant. And, could you ask for a better ending, with the sunlight and the character transformation. Note, an underrated character was the bible thumper. He was minor, but he played that subtle role perfectly.

This movie really fucked me up. I often deliver food through door dash and the best tip I’ve ever gotten was from a deliver of more than $300 worth of candy to a woman who seemed to be living alone in a studio apartment. She answered the door on a wheelchair missing both legs and I had to hook the bag on here thumb because her other fingers had been amputated. All likely from diabetes.
