They know who she is already. They had the vehicle information and apparently found it already. They've got a name, description, everything I bet. It's just a matter of time trying to track her down, and probably more importantly take her in without incident. Lots of time the police are waiting for the right moment to get the perpetrator with the least amount of resistance such as early in the morning or boxing in a vehicle as the perpetrator is traveling by vehicle. What they want to avoid is a hostage or barricade situation, or a fleeing perp in a high speed car chase. They also want the perpetrator unnamed or disarmed and preferably not in a SWAT team raid of a residence with others (especially innocents) around. I'm thinking they are just waiting for the right moment now.

Her being anywhere near them if she would do this over food get this worked over by it ,just a baby being a baby crying, messing with things would set her off.
