I miss Cristine's goofy commentary in her old videos. 😂😅 I'm someone who never even wears nail polish (my nails have to stay super short), but her humor was so my style that I loved watching her videos. I haven't been back in awhile since she changed her channel and is pretty much just about her business and not the fun, goofy stuff anymore.... but I do understand in a way. I saw the video where she said she was unhappy with trying to force herself to make content. It's sad when people have burnout, but it happens. I'm glad her business is so amazingly successful. I'm just (simply) stating I miss the old stuff. ❤️💔

I found that the top coat I use makes peelies that are too brittle to survive in a bag so I have a peelie pill bottle instead. I had a few sad bags of ground up nail polish remains before I figured that one out

Super Glue and baking soda. Or nail glue and baking soda. The best. Use it on anything lol turns into steel 😂 cover/fill whatever in baking soda, and then gently dab a drop of glue and it'll instantly absorb :) It's so good for filling cracks and holes in household things and fixing nails. Lol

From what I remember during the actual stream, she mentioned that too many people just go at it without actual proper education, just following the written instructions. Cristine added that gel products should only be sold to either professionals or people who've done training, even if it's only for personal use. Personally, I get that. Before I started using gel I literally did the equivalent of an online course here on KZbin. There's an experienced nail tech from the US who's done a series of educational videos which are really informative, and there are other professionals who are kind enough to put these kinds of videos out there. I also read everything I could get my hands on before I bought a single thing. However, in conversation with others who do the same, the majority didn't bother beyond tutorial videos, which is dangerous!

There was some discussion in chat and stream (if i remember correctly) about people giving themselves allergies by mishandling gel polish. And the ingredient that's the allergen is in other things as well, (maybe some dental fillings or something?) so it could really mess you up
