getting run over by a train is brutal. you get twisted and grinded up under the tracks. it is far from instant. if you’ve ever heard someone commit suicide that way, you’ll remember the sound of that screaming. it’s horrible

Few things related to choking: You automatically choke somebody to death (no prompt or anything) if you walk (not run) up behind them and tap the melee button. Think there are some rare animations where you can get it from the front but I'm not sure. You can also just choke somebody in a standing melee encounter by pressing Y/Triangle to trigger the grapple animation where you can choose to beat, dismiss, or choke them.

Have high honor on your first play through of the game, because it makes the story better and all the more heart-wrenching, and it demonstrates Arthur’s character development beautifully, as he transforms from this merciless killer, to a good man. But be low honor on your second play through for the funnies, because you already know the plot, especially during the epilogue, because the consequences for crimes aren’t as punishing.

The choking animation isnt just a tackle option, you can just press Y on xbox, triangle on ps snd whatever the keybind is on pc, and its a standing up animation and can be activated from the back or front with different animations, front is with your hands and back is with your arms, also you have to walking to activate them, if you do it while running you'll just tackle them
