This was the song that got me into metal. I remember watching How to be Metalcore by Stevie T, looking up metalcore songs, picked a random one (which just happened to be this one), and realized that his video was really accurate. I still thought it was a sick song. So thank you Stevie T, and more importantly, I Killed the Prom Queen, for getting me into the best genre of music ever.

Got to see these guys open for Lamb of God, Killswitch and Unearth in maybe 2004 in Brisbane? Saw them again in Toowoomba playing on a little balcony with a bike rack as the barrier around 06/07. Miss these days. Amity, Parkway, IKTPQ and so many other bands were rising and rising! Take me back!!!!

I killed the prom queen deserve way more credit than they get, Music for the Recently Deceased is my favorite album. I even bought but their last album was alright, it felt a bit boring at parts. You should check out Feed Her to the Sharks since they kinda improved upon this style of metal core.

I listened to metal like this for 5 years or so. Ive been exclusively into rap since then, for about 6 years now. I still have an appreciation for this music, even if i only listen for a few hours every year. Its astounding that this song only has one million views. This is such a good song, that IMO transcedes genres, and it needs more recognition.

These guys, The Amity Affliction and Being as an Ocean have saved Warped Tour for me. My three big reasons for going. Can't fucking wait to finally see I Killed the Prom Queen in the Summer. Parkway Drive did the same for me in 2014. Australia Hardcore is amazing.

For any fans still listening to this in 2016. I applaud you for never letting good metal like this be forgotten. Check out Endthisday, Wings of Scarlet, and Prayer for Cleansing. All great old school metal bands before the scene became a whitewash of trendy scene whores and butchered up generic metal garbage.
