I think you're far off... Specially when the hardest ending is not the Afton ending nor is it the 3 star ending. Which if you recall from past games the true ending has always been the 3 star ending. Which in this game (just like the others) is the hardest ending to find & finish... The princess quest ending.

@@RyeToast I think you're onto something with the CEO being the true mastermind behind all this. Makes the most sense. Henry's fire would have ended it all had that CEO not re-formed or maintained Fazbear Entertainment all that time, the ONLY reason William Afton comes back this time is through the actions directed by that CEO, the reason Vanny is in the pizzaplex to hack everything and infect everything with the Glitchtrap virus is because of that CEO. Not only that, but she's in the perfect position as Head of Security, she's got legitimate access to all the security systems and files to edit anything she needs to to cover her tracks and deflect suspicion to the wrong parts of the Pizzaplex and to frame other employees or robotics in there. With Vanny in any other position, even head of Parts and Service or IT, but a skilled and legitimate Head of Security, she'd be heavily handicapped in what she could do and how fast she could operate. Even as Head of Security, there were still limits to how far she could go. For example, she couldn't just reboot Freddy out of Safe Mode, which would re-enable Freddy's copy of Glitchtrap and get him back on her side (an event I thought would happen when he was alone with Vanessa in there for the whole Endo Maze section). Why? Because she was the ONLY person on duty who COULD have done that, and there was probably some protocol where Freddy had to be in Safe Mode after crashing. Such an obvious breach which would be impossible to cover up would probably allow the manager who didn't want her there in the first place to fire Vannessa and the CEO wouldn't be able to intervene under those circumstances as he'd be exposing his complicity in that whole thing. The Manger would have his way and have a skilled, dedicated and experienced Head of Security and it could be months or even years before he'd have an opening to get a new accomplice in there that he could rely on without giving himself away. Even as CEO, he would not be all powerful, he'd still be answerable to the board of directors, and assuming Fazbear Entertainment is publicly traded, the shareholders. The CEO gets found out in plots like this, the directors would be legally required to fire the CEO and replace him with someone else, or they could face a massive lawsuit from the shareholders for violating their duty to the shareholders.

I feel like glitchtrap could have been the reason why Vanessa gets the job. I mean, he's a computer virus and could just edit the answer to any job applications to be "yes" or "no". like, maybe when the higher up's are sending out an email saying "nah we don't want her" glitchtrap could just edit it to say "yeah give her the job" and could do it the other way around. Any employees saying "yo okay boss we gave her that job like you asked us to" could be changed to "okay we'll look for someone else more qualified" therefore both parties would be unaware of anything

The real crux of the argument comes from the fact that glitch trap was only created by decisions made by higher ups that don't make a lot of sense. Also, scanning old parts for your VR game leading to the creation of an AI virus rabbit copy of a long dead serial killer is not something that people think of. They can be excused on that front.

One thing I have to say is I fully understand the issue with the changing scope of the game. As a professional web developer for 8 years, I've had to deal with projects like this and learned from my mistakes on how to keep this scoping issue in check. In project management, "Project Creep" is we call this slow creep of adding more little things that each on their own is insignificant, but as they add up, they combine to make the project massively bigger, in some cases double or even triple the originally intended size. I could see from the delays, the interview between Steel Wool and Dawco, and the state of the game that it was a huge victim of this project creep, having experienced it myself.

So what if she remarried, had some new kids, and they found out what had happened with William and their half siblings? I think the new kids/kid would have taken or tried to take the Fazbear CO and make the Mega Pizza Plex. Then they might be responsible for keeping Glitchtrap in their VR game, then moving Vanessa to security after finding out about her being controlled by their mom's EX, giving Vanny parts to rebuild William, and just keeping him in a basement to keep adding to his research.

I like the hivemind/ Vanny STAFF bot army idea a lot, especially as the original STAFF bot designs were so friendly and memelike and Unscary. Some of the original fnaf uncanny valley charm was their similarity to familiar nostalgic characters from real life. Now FNAF is far bigger than Chuck E Cheese ever was , and half the audience playing these games are kids nostalgic for early Game Theorist videos- they’re more familiar with the FNAF 16 bit minigames than the games they referenced. Those kids didn’t ever have spooky puppet animals in their bedrooms growing up, but they probably had Star Wars droid shaped piggy banks. The swarm of STAFF bots attacking Vanny seemed like a potentially great scare, and if the basement ending does turn out to be canon, there’s no reason Vanny can’t be inhabiting them offscreen too. Her escape (or Vanessa’s failure to escape) can be as gross and traumatic as the writers choose, bc they never showed what happened to her. That theory also provides a handy spot for the new missing children to have died, the better for fleshing out their ghost backstories

I just think it would be funny if the CEO after William and Henry died was HandUnit. Simply because i like scifi and HandUnit reminds me a lot of Glados, trying to hide a higher intelligence capable of lying when it tells you to run in ballora's gallery in sister location, being sadistic and enjoying it but only when the player is alone with it, playing off at being just a simple AI with pre-recorded messages. Who's to say that he wasn't experimented on too like the other animatronics. Or that he can't pretend like Baby/Ennard and hasn't acquired a level of independence like the glamrocks. And he's been part and taken part on William's experiements as well as been part of the pizzeria projects since who knows how long. he could be the only one that knows the information that Henry was trying to destroy since he just seems to appear there in the background making announcements. Maybe he wants to bring his master back. I have no actual evidence and there's not much logic on the mechanics of how he would actually achieve it or why. Is just my headcanon. And i want to have him come back as a surprise villain that was there "all along" and then say "i'm sorry Gregory... I'm afraid i can't do that..." That's my shitpost of the day.

RyeToast, I think you're onto something with the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment idea. The whole setup for the last 3 mainline games all comes from the top management of FE. However, I disagree on the theory that Gregory is homeless. Despite his sleeping in an alley, the newspaper he's using reveals 9 missing kids, one of which, the one in the bottom left, looks an awful lot like Gregory, too much like Gregory to be a co-incidence. FNAF does not have a history of doing co-incidences like this. Gregory being among the REPORTED missing persons means SOMEBODY noticed he went missing, and REPORTED him missing to the police. That somebody would be parent(s), or a legal guardian. That also means official government records, probably including a birth certificate, as the police would not open up a missing person case for a Gregory who does not officially exist. There's a very simple reason why a Gregory who has parents and a home was sleeping in that alley near the pizzaplex. he was exhausted from his ordeal of being kidnapped who knows how long ago, escaping, only to get trapped inside the building when it went into lockdown mode for the night, was kept awake in a very high stress situation for the entire night, and once he runs out the front door, he's now got that emotional letdown of having escaped, the adrenaline that's been keeping him up well past when he should have collapsed is gone and he just collapses wherever he is. Also, in light of the Ruin DLC reveal, I think the most likely to be cannon ending, at least for the setup to the DLC is concerned, is the front door ending, where Gregory gets caught again by Vanny and brought back to the pizzaplex. Then part of it, the easternmost tip of Roxy Raceway, the part over top of the old Pizzeria, collapses and the rest of the building is damaged, and a girl either another kidnap victim who escaped captivity when part of the building collapsed or who came looking specifically for Gregory. Maybe Gregory found a phone and called for help before he collapsed and got recaptured?

Something to note is in fnaf 1, we possibly hear about this plan. If you change the night 5 phone call, you find an altered version of a segment from the book autobiography of a Yogi. It talks about how metal shares properties with organic creatures, like self-healing. If you could put a soul into a robot, it could act just like a person. You could essentially become immortal. This is also information way back in fnaf 1 that the killer was someone who was higher up in the company and they had the goal of immortality when they killed the kids.

This is a really good theory, in fact, you could have seen this coming from a mile away when you consider how the company didn’t allow the police to check the old animatronics for any evidence of murder even when people have reported the smell of decay inside the animatronics, sweeping blood under the rug, making soon-to-be springlock victims bleed out in a separate room to die. Have grim disclaimers. And so on, it may have been overlooked during the games, but shedding more light on those controversies within Fazbear Entertainment makes this theory all the more plausible.

You mention Vanny being Vanessa a lot but that’s not even confirmed. Anyway,my guess is the CEO is the adult version of Gregory (if he is a robot crying child). Mainly because the only person who could take over the company would be the child of either William or Henry (given the two of them were CEOs). Henry has no living kids anymore,especially because he tried to remove Fazbear Entertainment as a legal entity. Mike is dead. Gregory definitely seems like robot crying child and the books tell us there are 4 robots per person you want to recreate (toddler,child,teen,adult) and the adult would make the most sense to inherit the company and stop Henry removing the company as a legal entity

We know William died and became a spirit possessing his own corpse, and Henry Emily is dead and passed on (so it appears), so Who is running things now? who has the kind of money that can build a massive, technologically advanced entertainment complex, with advanced free thinking AI animatronics? When you think about it, Fazbear Ent. was made by Henry and William. With Henry dead, and William being declared "dead" who else is running the show? It's weird that we never know who now owns Fazbear Entertainment, even after Fnaf 6. But maybe that'll be answered some day in the future? The best thing we can do, is wait and see what'll happen next.

Even though i was questioning who even was running Fazz entertainment the entire time, i don't think it was the management pushing Vanessa to be in her current position. I think it was Glitch trap, i think he hacked the systems at the office of the person running Fazbears entertainment and maby set emails and faked Vanessas record so she can be head of security and guard the place alone, since an email directly from the top (the boss) wouldn't really be questioned and is a faster way for William to get what he wants (probably coming back and existing in a physical form again).

This reminds me of my own fnaf fanfic about a company trying to capture William to get information out of him. About how he made remnant and immortality to become real. But William won't tell them anything since revealing his secret will not only put himself and his family in danger but the whole world too and he definitely doesn't want to get hunted down by the government or the whole world too. So he keeps himself quiet and tries to find a way to escape before the secret gets out. The story is name Remnant of my past. There was something in the books about afton getting absorbed by a trash blob/monster but then gaining control of the whole beast and having to have Baby help the main characters defeat that trash monster, but maybe that won't be in the dlc, but it would tie into the afton getting attacked by the trash blob ending

How have I not thought of this before? I have never thought that Fazbear Entertainment could be the next big threat in the FNAF series. It's an interesting and clever idea, and what u brought up with them bringing back Afton's corpse & Glitchtrap to continue with Remnant experiments is also clever in a way. The question here is HOW ARE U GOING TO STOP THEM?!!! U got higher ups in charge of a multi billion dollar franchise (who we BARELY know anything about) with LOTS of robots & animatronics at their disposal, William Afton/Burntrap AND Glitchtrap. So defeating them all & putting an end to Fazbear Entertainment's nefarious plans won't be easy. I can only imagine Golden Freddy (Cassidy) coming back to help Gregory & Vanessa, but under the condition that she deals with William (BOTH of em) personally. But what are the odds of that?

Yeah, Security Breach is very incomplete. The game still has files in it that are there, but not implemented or were cut. There is much more to this game than Steel Wool had time to complete. Dont forget the insanity ending of pizza simulator where the ending is After you witness that, the ending cartoon is shown. It reprimands you for "looking where you shouldn't have", and says you shouldn't have seen that. The narrator then presents you with the Certificate of Insanity, so that no one will believe you if you decide to tell what you have seen. The last shot of the ending shown you being taken somewhere for brain lobotomy

You know there's still a possibility that this CEO is Henry's son from the graphics novels who was like Michael went to take on the family business but still has the attachment of his dead twin sister, Charlie Emily which also died in that fire connecting their memories to this Pizzeria and bring back William Afton could be as a way to like some fan suspected that Death was too good for William, Golden Freddy aka Evan Afton knew personally Charlie Emily so why not her twin brother Sammy whose last name has still unrevealed itself, I also had a theory that William Afton is still returning to tell his tale why he started killing kids and why he started the business with Henry that will decide his faith once and for all, The Graphic novel had shown a few signs of Trauma in his childhood that he didn't talk until he worn the Springtrap mask, another is Evan's death, William abusive side had gotten worse because he remembered something that's part of his trauma and went out to target Michael for forcing him to remember such things, another evidence is in Security Breach Vanessa killed how many Therapists, somebody had a horrible history with these experts, enough that they were the closest to the truth that they had to die, and which character fits this CEO traumatized character who lost his twin, Sammy, Henry's son and Charlie's brother, that could also explain why the Security Breach multiple endings was in comic mode, its a hint of this character in DLC which was already introduced in Graphic Novels.

While I don’t think that Sammy is alive or even exists in the FNaF games, if he is, this would make sense. Say when Henry’s wife left him she took Sammy fearing if he was left with Henry that William or Fredbears would kill Sammy, like Charlotte. And then when Henry goes away for some time he realizes that Fazbear Entertainment had been left to him and him only, and for years he studies the remains of what his father fought for and what William did. He sides with William, looking into immortality and stepping around what his father did to stop William. Now, all thats left is the remains of the past 7 games, and if MatPat’s theory about Elizabeth, Evan, and Michael being represented by Vanessa, Gregory, and Glamrock Freddy, then all that remains is the Afton kids (or their stand-ins). So yeah, I’d love this theory to be true.

Id argue that the van ending is the most plausible. Gregory has been shown to be selfish,malicious, and self serving throughout the entire game. Its not unlike him to just grab Freddy and leave. He has no reason to stay and try to stop vanny. Freddy would tag along with Gregory to keep him safe. Vanny also wouldn't be able to catch them while they have the van high jacked. Her goal is to kill as many kids as possible, so it would be within her best interest to not pursue them and just keep doing what she's doing. The CEO could just use the van as a tax write off and Gregory could just live out of the van

I would love to see the CEO as Mrs.Afton. I know people say that she became Bellora, but I believe Bellora was just modeled after her. But yeah, I think having the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment would be a great new villain.
