The best thing about Matt's costume is that he can reuse it if he watches Attack of the Giant Leeches.

Love The Old Dark House, it's probably the first true horror-comedy and still under appreciated. The story goes that James Cameron heard Gloria Stuart's audio commentary for the film in the 90's and that's what made him offer her a role in Titanic. AND Boris Karloff's character was a direct influence on Lurch from The Addams Family.

I love seeing Ernest Thesiger in movies, but I have a highly distorted sense of how well known he is, since I watch Bride of Frankenstein and Old Dark House around Halloween and the Alistair Sim version of A Christmas Carol around X-Mas. I get to see Dr. Pretorius, Horace Femm, and Scrooge's undertaker every year -- and everyone else should, too! Three great movies!

The cat (¿Ernesto?) at the end is always the cherry on top of these reviews. Without fail I laugh out loud every time he drops a line. To me this show is the KZbin equivalent of comfort food. Thank you for your dedication to, and undiminished enthusiasm for, WTTB. Your comedic rapport with each other is still as strong as ever. Cause you know.. chemistry isn't just a class I dropped in college.

12:35 - NOBODY WAITS FOR TOM WAITS! Matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he recorded that album beneath a New Jersey pier while somehow stuck in a crab trap and banging on old oil drums from the war.

Hey Matt and Craig! Another great episode in the can! Seen It? -> 1983’s The Hunger. It was directed by Tony Scott and costars David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon. One of my favorite underrated films ever made!

The Island of Terror creatures are based on silicon, not calcium. Bizarrely enough, that movie was released in 1966, the same year which also saw the classic Star Trek episode Devil in the Dark which also featured a silicon-based being.

There's so, so much wrong with IKWYDLS. One of the biggest ones concerns the crabs. Like, seriously, the killer was a mundane human. How did he clean out Julie's trunk so fast? There's not even a smell! Anne Heche is so OBVIOUSLY set up to be the killer that it's clear she isn't. She comes at them with a knife...because she had been chopping stuff up in the kitchen. She bangs suddenly and angrily on their car window...because they forgot their cigarettes. I HATED this movie.
