Maybe when you go to pick it up after the shop is finished with it you can take your video camera and interview the service manager or tech who worked on it. They might like the publicity. And your viewers might learn some of peculiarities of this model of generator.

$600 to $700 is not bad in today's economy for any kind of repairs done by a professional. When it comes to used parts, you just have to admit that it's going to cost to keep them going and at some point, more money needs to be thrown at the boat. B.O.A.T.

You have to watch what you call a professional, They may not know anymore than you do about this unit if they have not worked one the one or this type before.
