I received a Hot Foil Glimmer machine for my 70th birthday from my two daughters in March and have yet to experiment and create with it. I have so many hot foil plates already. I have watched a lot of videos on how to use it. 🥰

Ah the stamps of life does this with their background dies as well and love the idea of having the outline die as well. Can use any shape to cut out the background. Glad for different designs

One thing I saw and learned: the green shim you put on top, I learned that the green one is made especially for the heat, so maybe it is better for your plates if you put the green plate first and it all last longer.

This video made me want a hot foil machine now 😭. I definitely can't get one though! Then I would have to buy foil dies also and it would be never ending. EVERYTIME I see a new craft technique, I go out and purchase a ton of stuff. I started out with a cricut, I bought all the vinyl, htv, cardstock, sticker paper, photo paper, keychain blanks, cup blanks, sign blanks, etc. Then I discovered quilling, I went out and bought an entire quilling kit. Then I started cardmaking on my cricut, but decided that cards looked better and more realistic with dies, so I bought a big shot, dies and stamps, inks, embossing powders, folders sequins, nuvo drops, stencils, etc.. Then I discovered resin, I purchased resin, protective equipment, 😢😢molds, glitter, resin die, mica powder, alcohol ink etc. Then I discovered faux leather earrings, I went out and purchased an earring making kit, faux leather and hair clips to make faux leather bows! Now I am about to purchase a sublimation printer 🤦, keep me away from the foil, I can't even think about it!
