as a gymnast, the reason you arent making it is because you're reaching for the ground at the end as soon as you open up, instead of letting yourself land youre expecting to fall lol, but this is really impressive for a beginner!

Yes, and sometimes you are rolling your knees forward when you are taking off. Taking a few more moments in the tuck position and standing up instead of reaching for the floor would get you around I think.

this was crazy!! i done this exact same thing bro. where youre going wrong is; youre untucking way too early, youre still horizontal when you release the tuck. and make sure when you jump and throw your arms up, dont take your arms to your knees. keep your arms high until you start to rotate a bit the take your knees up to your arms. hope that makes sense. love

You know how there's all these people so invested in KPOP groups who want them to succeed no matter what, who feel their pain like their own. I've always looked at that and wondered how someone could attach themselves to the achievements of a stranger in an emotional sense. And then I found this channel (I would say your name but I'm sure I'd mispell it) and found myself being invested, video after video, in your success. Often checking the sub count like it was my channel! So happy to see your videos and how far you've grown and how bright you're growing. Keep on keeping up Ai Ssaoui. (I butchered that lol)

Wow. Just wow. Thats insane. If you would like a few tips, here are some: 1. Try to tuck a but more 2. Don’t travel as far back, go high instead of far 3. Go from the grass to the mattress to not hurt you ankles And when you can land that you know you can do it flat. I know what you went through trying this, and its crazy how quick you learnt. Hope this helps❤
@jol1995 Жыл бұрын
If you want to land it. Hold your tuck longer. That will make you spin faster. And do a step in before the flip.

for anyone who wants to learn. the tighter the tuck the quicker the rotation. try and focus on driving ur hips and toes forwards more to create that power cuz throwing ur shoulders back wont😁 ALSO dont come out of the tuck too early, i.e dont come out of the tuck when ur directly upside down. as u feel ur self about to complete the rotation then come start to come out

5:46 I’m currently learning how to backflip in my room on fluffy carpet. You gonna tell yourself to do some thing before or rught before taking off. In this case, you have to tell your legs to jump. Instead of bending a little bit and jumping. Bend your legs as low as you would before doing a backflip and then TELL YOURSELF, jump, accerlarate. I used to turn around you at time, but I had to tell myself that. 15:38 I slowed down the video and it looks like you weren’t bending back a lot before doing the backflip, limiting the flip. Before doing a backflip, lift your neck up so yk the motion to do, maybe bend your upper body too.

You should never raise your head to look back when doing a backflip. This is causing your spine to straighten and it is preventing you from fully tucking into a tight ball, which in turn slows your rotation drastically. It's also dangerous.

Thats counts! 💯 At the point where you commit without any support and you land it somehow, that counts for me. Because a backflip is all about commitment. If you make it to that point, you will certainly do a clean one within the next days, when your physical power is back.
