As I listened to the gentleman, I could relate to some aspects of his story because of some similarities. I too lived in the United States for 30 years. Specifically, and just like him, I lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for two years, where I pursued my second Masters degree at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I relocated back home to Ghana in 2012, as I had a job opportunity with an American multinational company. My wife and children still live in the States, and just like him, I visit every year and yearn to come back after two weeks being in the States. Since my return to Ghana, I own two houses. I bought one and built the other. There is no way I could have accomplished such a feat in the States. You don't own anything in America. A lot of it is fools gold and make belief. The American system is predicated on borrowing, spending and debt. The system is punishing in many facets. If you are not careful, you can easily find yourself in debt to your eyeballs with nothing to show when you retire. To my fellow Diasporans, return to the continent, before it is too late.

Goose bumps all over me oh my God.Iam a Ghanaian living in the U.S. Maryland and stress is killing me here.My uncle adviced me when i was coming i thought he was wrong now i regret but i can't say it.All my friends i left them behind have made it big time and Iam here yet to hit my 5000 dollars. It simply got me comfuse whereas my mom died and left me a big farmland that can change my life. Now Iam sitting here doing white color job.Iam simply stocked and corona virus has added onto my stress how can i go back. Those brothers who think US is heaven should rethink.Today USA is based on color.

Well, bash the say way they bash us. Imagine that you didn't have anything. You died in your millions by the bubonic plague yet you tell me you are better than me because I accept you in my country with open arms and I ended up in one of the hideous crimes in the history of the world. They took everything from me to build theirs and yet they continue to run me down

@@phatsissy67 I have and am working on degrees in these areas: Culinary Arts AS, Food Science BA, Business Strategy MBA. My economic plan for Ghana isn't fully formulated. However, I'd like to do anything that is food related. Maybe doing things like working with farmers and creating grocery stores in areas that need it, or food production, restaurants, or exporting food.
