I’m glad you guys mentioned the old style mansion tours. Much prefer the less chopped up and more raw ‘walkthrough’ style tours than the more recent rushed fast-cut editing. This video was more like the old ones which was good to see. P.s. put a sliced lemon in a steam room…so fresh and so clean clean

Keizersgracht means keizer's moat/canal. (Keizer is indeed a kind of ruler) The artwork seems to show all the traditional Dutch houses along the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, one of the many canals that run through the city.
@ashleyparkyn96832 жыл бұрын
Don’t get me wrong, I love the B-roll and professional approach you guys have taken to these house tours lately. However, as someone who has watched for a few years now, I really miss the old style house tours where Michael and Adam go through having a laugh and joking about. Would love to see more like that!

@bartjan26942 жыл бұрын
Hi guys, I am going to help you out with the Dutch. Keizers means as Producer Michael correctly said "ruler" or "emperor". Gracht means "Canal". Keizersgracht is one of the three main streets in Amsterdam which has a canal or waterway in the middle of it, with nice old houses at each side built in Amsterdam's GoldenAge (16th Century) during which trade took a boom. So far the history lesson:-) I enjoyed the video and thanks!

Love the new format. I'm glad to see that you guys haven't given up on the channel. The changes you've made are amazing. From the chapter selection in the timeline, to the crisp clean post production editing., There's more banter between Michael and Adam and it really let's both of your personalities shine. This is why so many people watch your channel, it has nothing to do with the homes you're touring or the cars or the watches. Keep up the good work guys!!

Adam - you were in rare form for this tour! You cracked me up - especially with your snow white welcoming the little birds in the tree! I loved some of the extras in this house! The "grass" walls on the roof to disguise the air conditioning & things - that's something I've never seen before, not that I've lived or even toured any high end homes before. Absolutely gorgeous ceiling light above master bed and loved the 2 bedside lamps in one of the bedrooms that were rectangular and looked like metal cages - unique! I liked this house alot & I've never commented on any houses on this channel before. I wouldn't like any of the rooms that faced the houses across the street so closely though and the back "yard" was so small - especially the pool, little claustrophobic to me. I would like it to be more isolated! This coming from someone who has always lived out in the country though! Lol!

So. about 2.30 minutes in... 'Oh, it's going to be one of those...' 😅😂 Time to hit pause and grab a beer to enjoy this. Gents, another fun video. Love the house. They didn't go overboard and gaudy like some luxury homes. This architect knows less is more. If I could change one thing it'd probably be the pool. See if I can get it wider, and probably finish it in some lighter colour tiling.

Nice modern home, but I am very spoiled to living on a small country ranch with little maintenance, (not that it couldn’t use lots more fixing up) but sometimes I have settle for comfort because the older I get (70) the less gets done, so I would be more prone to look for a home with very low maintenance, not so ostentatious on the outside and more country and laid-back on the inside, having an artificial hip mix one think of a wet floor that is marble and how slippery it will be. DO you have any videos of county like homes? I’d love to see a country home Michale. BTW I love your shirts the patterns are soooo beautiful they could be a picture on the wall. I could wear your shirts 24/7, well as long as they could fit my girly figure. 😌 O and the watches are very beautiful one could only wish for such elegance. Have a blessed day Michale and the same to your sidekick, you folks are fun to watch…

Great house tour yet again... The Keizersgracht is a street / moat / canal in amsterdam. keizer is indeed emperor and gracht is canal of moat. and it is the nr1 street in Amsterdam in terms of prestige.

Great tour, been a long time supporter of the channel. May I give a small tip though? I've noticed that recently there have been more and more transitions between your walkthroughs in the houses instead of longer continuous shots. That gives me a feeling that something happened that you don't want us to see or simply an unauthentic/edited/commercial vibe.. Back in the day you guys used to do long scenes with just organic content and banter, really wish you would start doing that again. Love you!
