That's way we love holidays inn. Free breakfast and very clean hotels. The last 3 days l stay a diferent holiday inn and l had to pay for parking

We had the city for ourselves because of the rain. We kind of enjoying even the rain its not my favorite especially in vacation. The next days was to sunny 🤣

You can park at le Carré d'Youville; which is just outside the walls for about $15 per day. This is much less than a taxi or Uber. The bus is not much cheaper as it also costs about $15 for two persons both ways (so $15 per day). There are other subterranean parking lots near downtown, even one under City Hall with similar costs.

Canada’s summers are short. So you have to cram all of the construction into a short period of time. There’s no construction in winter in Canada.

It's not a moving clock like you see in some European cities where figures move at the hour. All personnages on the front of the parliament are statues of important persons in the history of Canada. More modern historical figures (Quebec Premiers) are shown on the grounds around the building.

For us Quebeckers when visiting Ontario or any other provinces outside Quebec feels like USA ... same language , same culture , same food , same movies and tv shows .... same lack of knowledge about 500 years of canadian history, architecture and culture . french and english are both official languages of Canada . Quebec is the only province in Canada where you can live and hear both official languages of Canada ...
