It's kinda hard to figure out who's the mastermind behind that project tho. Is it Lucia Smith ? He's the only sane one, most likely because of his faith in GOD and Christian society model. He's aware of that project but Sees it as something inevitable and he just enjoys the present, living his life to the fullest (Deltatraveler AI is set AFTER Undertale AI so sans already went trough a lot of character development, he's accepted his preferences, he's much more chill and jolly than in undertale AI) UnderFell sans is clearly on an Holy crusade against degeneracy, even if he's on his own (whether you're progressive/woke or conservative/Sigma, you Gotta admit fighting for your values and beliefs despite the entire World even your own brother having fully embraced the antithesis of said values IS extremely based) Since he's so agressively Christian, he might be aware of the project and might even work for the mastermind behind it Chujin worked with Lucia to set up this project, but he looks like he was tasked to work on it, he never says anything that suggets it was his idea. At best, maybe the project is the result of Lucia and Chujin's collaboration ? He def isn't the mastermind tho, because he's dead (Reggie, the CEO of Nintendo who also died later on according to Spamton, sent ninjas to kill him because he pirated his company) yet the project is still a thing. Then, you also have Gaster who, just like in the Canon games, IS the most badass and interesting character. He clearly states he's not Christian but does have an interest in GOD and storms. Also, he seems to follow the Redpilled Sigma Philosophy, which is already strongly implied in canon Deltarune with the whole super boss plotline, so it's pretty cool that the AI builds up on that and exagerates it. We know he lives in the Desert (probably to keep a low profile and to be safe from degeneracy) and is tech savy. Darius says his Father left After he kicked him in the nuts, and iirc Darius also says at one point that his dad wouldn't approve his lifestyle at all, which makes sense if Gaster is the Father in this AU. In Undertale AI, when Darius gives you his email, he actually gives you a "Gaster Figurine" which strengthens the idea that the two are related in some way.
