This is literally something so common, people have been doing this for centuries, wetnurses breastfed other women's children as a job, the fact that these two women are doing it because they trust each other with the safety and nutrition of the baby is fine by me. I agree! I think part of the reason, if not most, that people don’t view this the same as donated milk is because the sexualization of breasts. There’s nothing weird about a baby drinking straight from the source, yet it’s still treated like such a taboo thing. People who call it gross are the real gross ones
@rainnmoon1142 жыл бұрын
It's really not. Breast milk is tested and pasteurized. There's no direct contact with the donor and the milk is processed. This is like drinking milk straight from the teat of a cow, which is not the same as buying a gallon in the store.

My mother replied that a baby was a baby and they needed to be fed. So she fed the twins, and myself, for the next 2 or 3 days until the lady's milk "came in".

When I had my first daughter I needed to have an emergency surgery 7 days after giving birth. I was really worried that she’d stop wanting to breastfeed if I gave her a bottle (because drinking from a bottle is much easier than drinking from a breast) My best friend just had a baby 3 months before. She very sweetly offered to take my baby and husband home to feed her while I was in the hospital until the morphine was out of my system and I could safely breastfeed her again. My husband would sleep downstairs with our baby and he’d wake up my friend anytime she was hungry and she’d wake up and feed her too! It was such an amazing, selfless thing she did for me and my baby!! After about 3 days I was completely off the pain medicine and was able to continue breastfeeding my new baby!! I did use a breast pump every few hours the entire time I was hospitalized to dump the milk that had medications in it and to keep my milk production up! When I was a baby My mom and all my aunties all had babies around the same time so they all used to babysit and breastfed for each other (it was the 70’s, free love and free milk lol! Good for you two for doing this. Good for you for putting it out there on social media. It's totally not disgusting. And even if there wasn't a shortage of formula as a good enough reason to do this, it should be fully acceptable to do whatever you want with your own child. Back, not that long ago, we had wet nurses for this exact reason. And that was well accepted. So why is this so strange?

My aunt breastfeed my cousin (another aunt’s daughter who was adopted at birth) and I think it’s a beautiful act, specially since some mothers feel bad about not being able to breastfeed.

This is normal in a close-knit family. The 2 moms are close like 2 great sisters, so they trust each other immensely. They live sooo close by and their husbands are twin brothers who are immensely close. The communities before 1900 did this to help each other because this is the most natural thing in the world. This type of immense trust certainly wouldn't exist amongst strangers or anyone who didn't trust each other immensely. This is their closest tribe. Why wouldn't they help each other if someone they love is hungry???!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I love this . People that think it’s not right there are milk banks for woman that give there breast milk to woman that can’t breastfeed and I think it’s better it’s her sister-in-law

Milk banks run extensive tests before the milk is released.

This is just clout chasing. No one really cares. Wet nurses, and sharing/selling of breastmilk has been a thing.

Wow!! I think it's beautiful. ❤🙏 Breastfeeding is best!! I would have LOVED to have had that kind of help and support when I was trying to breastfeed my first child (many years ago). Sadly, I struggled majorly with supply issues and other problems. 😢 With the second child it was much, much easier. Anyway, way to go sisters!! 🥰❤🙏

That's amazing, I love it. To people who have bad comments, , I tell you that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I do not see anything wrong with it. It is her sister in law. Not a stranger off the street. She wasn't producing enough milk so she wanted to help out. I think it is sweet. The baby is happy for sure. The identical twin brothers was fine with their wives doing it. I mean this has been going for a long time. It is done in different countries. Their is nothing wrong with it perfectly normal. I breast feed my daughter. Lucky I was blessed to do it. It is a beautiful thing to have that bond with your baby. People always got something negative to say about everything. I mean that is their choices that they make. Nothing no one can do about it. You think because you hating that is supposed to change their mind. About breastfeeding I don't think so they are going to do it regardless. Let them be God bless them all. 🙏🏻👑 😍💗

If they’re close I don’t see an issue. People buy breast milk online from strangers. This is better…they’re close she knows she is healthy. Honestly it’s a really selfless gift to her sister in law

This is fantastic, breastfeeding is such a beautiful thing. What a selfless thing to do, your so amazing. As long as baby is happy and healthy, its not like its a stranger, its family and it does take a village to raise a child. xx

Years ago they had wet nurses whose jobs were solely to feed the babies of people who could not feed their babies "A wet nurse is a woman who breastfeeds and cares for another's child. ... Wet nurses are employed if the mother dies, or if she is unable or chooses not to nurse ..." But then you know.... We have all of these " WOKE" people these days.... and people that wish to judge. lol Judge not lest ye be judged right? If the baby is being fed and they are not harming the baby....... the baby is healthy... what is the big deal here.? I think it is a loving , caring gesture.

@@adamdavis5383 I would prefer to feed my own child. I would not personally do it. But not judging these women if one mom could not make milk but the sister in law could

In Latin America this is so normal. My two aunts have their babies within a month and whenever one was busy the other auntie fed their sister’s baby. I thought this was a normal thing 😅
