I've been a old civic and integra driver for quite a few years. just got my 1st CRV (98 awd 5spd) after moving to Washington state. I needed something for the winters. This is a beautiful setup. I already put a set of +size A/T tires on mine. It does amazing in the snow, very impressed with the tall little car. I look forward to being the first out my back road and blazing a trail thru fresh overnight snow. Thanks for sharing !!

Great video, I was at a toss up between a GEN 1 RAV4 and CRV but after watching several videos and reading reviews about the CRV being a little more spacious then the RAV4 I'm looking at getting a CRV. Also the various videos of what mods and upgrades people have done to thier CRV's they look amazing.
@Jessimikuh2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah for sure!! I liked the RAV4 but never really looked into it. I’ve also stuck to Honda, just knew more about them. I actually intended on keeping everything OEM for value but wanted to keep it alive! Got a new engine and new chassis parts and has been better since!

Great vid! Mind if I ask you why did you think that there was a need for replacing the front lower control arms? I'm about to do the exact same setup as yours but still considering the front and rear lower control arms, not really sure if I really need those as I'm only planning to do 2" lift anyway. What do you think? Appreciate your answer

A lot of it was changed out because tbh I have no idea when or if they've ever been replaced. They were probably fine I heard so much noise and instead of guessing what's messed up, well I just replaced a lot of it.

If you go over 3" you're going to get axle bind for sure, maybe if you do coilovers and spacers you can go higher but then that would cause wobble.

I tried to Lift mine but being naive I got aerogenics spacers and had original oem axles so they started spitting out grease. I didn’t want to put the extra money into it cause I heard it would be plug n play. Still have the desire to lift it but we’ll see what happens lol.
