These trains are made by company RVR which stands for Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnica which in translation from Latvian is Riga Train Factory. I come from Riga and it is very sad that company making these trains has declared bankrupcy last year. Most common train is ER-2 which is in the game. They made about 1100 of those in real life. In Latvia you can still ride these trains. But in year 2020 we are going to have new trains. After collapse of USSR company found itself in really bad position. In 1994 they stopped producing most of their trains. After 2004 when Latvia joined EU there were no more trains made from this company. It even was largest in former Russian Empire. But, good news, it still exists.

The shabby ambulance at the beginning :D My father used to have a fugly grey Żuk van. He modified it, so it could run both on petrol or LPG. He was a fridge mechanic, so he had several canisters of refrigerator gas in the back, when he got pulled over by the cops, they never found out the (illegal) modification, as the LPG tank was hidden amongst all the other tanks.

The lights create blocks, and if there is any train in a block, it will toggle the lights stopping any other train until the block is open. I suggest putting lights right at the stations, and at any intersection. Depending on the train speed, and game mechanics (not familiar with this game's) you may want some on long straight tracks to prevent trains from colliding

Interesting (and kind of nostalgic) game, and I see so much modding possibilities here... so I really hope that this game will allow mods to be implemented. And maybe you should establish connections (testing purposes of course) with at least one city on the map for more workers and exporting stuff? And one more test suggestion, try plant some trees to replace the one cut down and see if they will cut them down as well, because if this would work then you could reforest the area and keep steady supply of wood.

I stumbled upon you, Keralis, once when I was looking for videos on The Frostpunk. Now I'm looking for Soviet Republic - Workers&Resources and I found you again. And it's nice to see that Keralis umie po polsku i wie że Żuk to Żuk :-) Love how you did the a sort of Szybka Kolej Miejska there, with those sexy sleek trainsets running back & forth. BTW - I believe you misplaced that single stoplight for the train that keeps stopping on straight lenght of track. The light post seems to be tilted toward the train. Therefore you put it by one train track, but it's turned towards the other track running next to it. (see 17:53 ) Next to the left train running by reacts to it, not the one that is closest to it. Don't know if the game is reacting to such tiny details, but judging how they introduced the need to have kindergarten to free up parents and make them work - it is quite possible. Are you planning to introduce tramways to your city too ? Haven't yet seen any video showing the mechanics of trams. Wonder if they also need to be pointed where to go, if they are only running on tracks, not on roads like buses. And of course I'm curious about what's the selection of the tram types possible to own. Thanks for the video and for bringing urban planning into your gameplay, not just building frantically. Dziękuję :)

You manage to do good making small talk I've been watching since minecrack and you are always one of the better commentaries on youtube. I especially like your approach to new games I just bought the game and realised by the time I know if I like it or not it will have probably been more then 2 hrs. What to do? Keralis is playing I'll watch a little if Keralis likes it I will to it's been long enough and so many games but we seem to have the same taste in games. I have never done multiplayer stuff though honestly because where I'm from it's considered creepy for an older guy to hang out with a bunch of kids and I'd rather just avoid any issues. I have been noticing lately though that in most games it's primarily adult communities.

You definitely have a slight problem with your trains. They should be driving just like cars (like right hand movement). Then they wouldn’t stop so many times, but would simply change the track after leaving the station (and since you have an X crossing they would be able to do that). Hopefully you will figure it out one day))

If anyone is interested: DR1A - Soviet-made diesel train. It was needed to replace the Hungarian D-1. As a result, this did not work out and D-1 remained the main diesel train in the USSR. Despite the deterioration, DR-1A is used on the railway of post-Soviet countries, especially in Moldova and Ukraine. ČME-3 is a Czechoslovak shunting locomotive manufactured specifically for the USSR. His name is deciphered: * Czechoslovak shunting *. It is still the main shunting locomotive in post-Soviet countries. It has alternative locomotives TEM, but they are mainly used in Russia. ČME-3 is a universal locomotive. It makes maneuvers, pulls suburban trains and even pulls not big freight trains. In Ukraine, he also pulled high-speed trains, because they broke.
