I had a good time with this one but Im not sure many others will. I do think that the deeper themes are very interesting.

One cannot deny the fascination with Bond-brother/sister. This was one’s favorite idea from the book, other than the covenant itself. Great breakdown of the book! One is glad one found it interesting. 🙌

I read his "Across a Billion Years" not too long ago and it was definitely interesting to read that 70s mentality on women and sex. It wasn't enough to detract from the other points, but it did make me roll my eyes from time to time lol. "Ringworld" by Larry Niven was like that as well, but it felt more like a central theme. I have more from that era in my TBR, so it'll be interesting to see how prevalent it is in the genre. I did like Silverberg more though as it was more philosophical. I've added this to my TBR among of few of his other books.

I have some more books from this era on my list as well. Ringworld is pretty high up on that list

I liked this book. It’s not perfect, but I also found the concept fascinating. It definitely has a strong 70’s vibe with the explicitness and drug themes. If you liked this, I would recommend Downward to the Earth by Silverberg if you haven’t read it yet. That one left quite an impression.

This sounds really cool. I'll have to check it out, it's one of the Gollancz SF Masterworks reprints so was only a matter of time before I got to it anyway. Have you checked out that list as yet? Based on your videos that I've been watching for a while now, I think you'd have a blast with quite a number of them.
