If I wanted to put on some background music to vibe to, why would I pick this album? I would rather put on a playlist or live radio stream of lofi, ambient, or new age music. Cause the artists who make those types of music actually sound like their trying to innovate or contribute something new to those genres. 🎶 🎵

Why is it that I catch myself wondering where it all went wrong for the “band” more times than I should. It honestly is a shame. ‘Songs about Jane’ actually has some really good tracks namely ‘This Love’, ‘She Will Be Loved’, ‘and Sunday Morning’, and I’m also quite fond of ‘Misery’ from ‘Hands All Over’. And with tracks like these it’s all only 2-5 people on the writhing credits, not to mention it’s Adam AND his band members. But nowadays, with every single release Maroon 5 becomes less and less of an actual band, and more of Adam Levine (and others), trying to do whatever the hell is popular, with writing credits from everyone single exec from the music industry, except for god forbid any of the members who aren’t Adam.

Maroon 5 hasn't been a band in like 14yrs since the It Won't Be Soon Before Long album. That was the last real album they put out. Anything after 2007 has nothing to do with the band anymore. @@TheCycloneHunter I understand, but at least change it up a bit, all of these albums sound so similar, doesn't matter if it's a "so bad it's good", just plain bad and cringe, purposefully bad, a fun album, a classic album, a more subtle, experimental record. he chooses albums with very similar styles, approaches, from similar time periods and scenes. How about changing it up a bit, leaving the comfort zone for once, something completely new and refreshing. I mean just look at his Loveless reaction, and now it's one of his favorite albums. He says he is more motivated now, but for a while he was complaining about his fatigue with music and if you check out his AOTY reviews and rankings I think it is clear why, just the same stuff over and over again. I don't think re-reacting to TOP and Readiohead albums was a good idea, I think it was just spinning in circles. Imo he should have done something new like reacting to the Downward Spiral which he said he is planning to do.

This is absolutely foul, its a robery, stealing from emo trap and hip hp fans by exploiting nipsey and juice, the old heads with stevy nicks, the latin demograph with anuel and the tiktok market with derulo. I think this is the most offensive album ive heard

Why even release it as an album when its just playlist fodder. Just release a dozen or so singles throughout the year every year and let the algorithms do their thing. Literally no reason to release them or promote them in batches or send them to reviewers so they can shit on it.

Looking at the comments, I didn't know Maroon 5 had this many fans. I've only heard the radio hits like "this love", "Sunday morning" etc and I've never felt the need to find out more about the band.

Nobody's Love is the best on the album imo, but that's probably because I've been conditioned to like it since they play it EVERY DAY where I work (same with Memories, but that one's not enjoyable at all)

A lot of the comments here states that M5 starts going downhill after ITWBSBL. I’m just curious, are people not liking Hands All Over? Bcs I think that album still has creative elements like the older ones and the songs are really good like Misery, Get Back in My Life, etc. Is there any reason for the dislikes? Just curious. I agree that the recents ones are extremely boring tho

"Liked by 6 people" These dudes legit liked their own album lol. Also, if "rock is dead" they can't make any better hip hop? Or Neo soul like they once did and was very good at? They can't paramore shit? I get that music is subjective but their has to be SOMETHING objective they are missing because this is right up my alley, I like pop, WHY isn't this hitting? They can't put in ANY energy at all? What I'm saying is.....they can't even pretend that they want to be here? This is kinda insulting at this point. Plenty of people want to make a living out of music and they do this when they know they have at least one million streams in the bag? Maroon 5 be like: "fuckin cope" with this new record. And the posthumous stuff? YUCK! why! I just hate this.

how the fuck did blackbear get famous singing literally the exact same melody with the exact same flow on every single verse on his own songs and on features when Eden and Brakence both do blackbear's whole thing so much better with so much more personality and talent, i look at blackbear and i half expect him to offer me some xanax and then try to overcharge me for it

I understand the reviews over maroon 5 these days, but I also know that most of these negative reviews arise because of the "loss of identity". Most musicians, nowadays, make generic music, but many get positive reviews and good grades because their works are based on pop, where they were born and grew up. In the case of maroon 5, as long as they make pop music, they will always be criticized because they will always be compared to their old albums.

The fact is that they are not even making pop music now...just trash edm/trap songs. This album is 60% trap/hip hop and 40% pop/edm. If I listen Maroon 5, I want to hear pop music, not this garbage. And there aren't even big hits except Memories
