This was more fascinating and creepy than any of the actual ghost hunting channels I've been watching.
I’ve always loved visiting creepy places. I didn’t expect to move into one. When I rented my first office, I thought it would be easier to move to the Belvedere when the lease at my old apartment was up. I moved in here a VERY skeptical person. I struggle with believing some of things that have happened in my apartment...things I haven’t talked about publicly in fear of being thought of as crazy. I know there are people who believe the concept of ghosts, spirits whatever you want to call them is ludicrous and will explain away everything in this video as building noise, etc. I can tell you that I went insane trying to rationalize the strange things that have happened in my apartment (and still do). I did street noise tests, found out the apartment next to mine is vacant, checked pipes, everything I could and cannot come to a reasonable explanation. I’ve had friends come here who are non-believers who have experienced activity and go off their rocker when they can’t figure out what is happening. I don’t allow ghost hunting in my apartment. It caused things to escalate the one and only time I had friends in doing EVP sessions. I am STILL hopeful that maybe it is just pipes or people having hushed conversations on the street 10 floors below my closed windows at 3:30 in the morning and somehow it echos out of my bathroom. If I hadn’t produced this video I’d call it fucking bullshit. It is fun to watch though. I have full versions of all the ghost hunts featured in this video at patreon.com/thisisdanbell. Believe...don’t believe...let’s just have fun watching it together! Enjoy!

Wee Wee had a lot of male siblings before she was born. It causes the female of the litter to want to mark their territory because they had so many hormones from the brothers. Your dogs are SO loving those walks tho. Dice is a perfect breed for rat hunting. Terriers never give up. They're sure cute. We have 3 dogs from the middle east and they're bigger so we had to put up a fence around the yard. Stray street dogs. They love to run. I used to board dogs and I sure miss the little guys running around the yard. Waiting to be alone in the house to watch this at midnight...so damn cool.

that office complex is straight backroom worthy, no signs of life, still as ever. the small spaces with acoustic tiles and carpet floor give it an anechoic(sound reflection proof) chamber effect. all of the tight blind corners would make me feel as if the lost island smoke monster was both receding around corners as i walk forward an also following just behind, all that and being by yourself. Well Dan, I can’t believe this video popped up for me. How long have I known you ? 30 years? As you know we live 3 blocks from The Belvedere. About 7 years ago, on a bitter cold February evening. I was eating in the owl bar alone. There may have been 4 other patrons in the restaurant. I saw an elderly man playing with his hat. Standing just beyond the pizza oven but before the bar. No one seem to of noticed him. He looked totally real. Then I saw him turn and walk through the door beside the bar. Several years later I was in there with Bob the owner at the time. I told him this story. He marched me over to the bartender. The bartender said to Bob - “I told you I saw him !” He apparently saw the same spirit but on a different night. So nice seeing you again, even if it’s just on video. Hugs Neal

The Belvedere sounds like it has quite the history, the Rey Rivera death (disputed suicide), Thomas Sutton Jr's suicide, Lawrence Perin's Suicide, Bernice Weber's murder, an unidentified bride's murder in 1918, the homeless worker killing you talked about, another unidentified man's slaying in the 1920's, Harry Hassett's suicide, William King Jr's suspicious death, Leigh Marlow's accidental death, 2 unidentified girls' deaths in an elevator accident/ trampling in the 1930's, Sam Shapiro's murder. Pretty wild stuff. Another fun fact unrelated (kinda) to the Belvedere-- the Milwaukee Ambassador Motel (where Dahmer killed his first victim in Wisconsin, Steven Tuomi, 2nd actual victim after Steven Hicks in his childhood home) was also converted into Apartments, the room which the slaying occurred is still rented out.

The sounds of moving furniture behind the walls - TERRIFYING! Living in a not too old townhouse, sometimes I hear footsteps in the stairwell, quite distinct, but I always make myself convinced it is coming from the neighbors next door, as their stairwell must be attached to the same wall as mine.. But is it? Not so sure! However, when you KNOW that there is no one there, behind the wall, and yet you hear heavy pieces like dressers or such being dragged across the floor.. Man, it is scary!

While I wasn't there, so I can't judge, I do think the "mist" is a bug, something like a ladybug or Potatoe bug crawling across the lens. Just based on the movement you can almost see the "waddle" effect of a multi legged bug as it traverses across the lens. Those IR Ring type cameras are notorious for picking up anomalies because they use infrared instead of visible light. I'm a skeptical ghost hunter myself, and 90% of things can be explained. It's those other 10% that keep me hunting.

We lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for many years and had strange experiences in our house, foul odors, shadow people, voices and one of our dogs responded to things we couldn't see. The house was built in 1969 so it wasn't particularly old. I had a very similar shadow entity experience in the bedroom. My daughter, son in law and I all heard voices in a particular part of the house. The family who owns it now has had no weird experiences, so far....

@SepherixTheDragon This is the problem with paranormal/extra-scientific investigation of any kind. It's a catch-22, people complain about a lack of good evidence and then when there is arguably good evidence it's all of a sudden too good to be true and discounted as fake.

@SepherixTheDragon I've seen that device used in other videos, and what it did here was totally consistent with the other examples. I don't think it's the dead using it to speak, but I don't really have any reason to think that it was contrived.
@pyramidschema86682 жыл бұрын
@SepherixTheDragon It's a "Ovilus" it's described like this "The device contains a database of words and syllables, and after a question is asked, changes in temperature or magnetic fields caused by spirits can draw an auditory response from the device." So the "voice" is entirely synthesized using a database of pre-programmed words. So all it actually proves is that it there are environmental changes with patterns matching those expected by the device's programmers. The sceptic in me says that the algorithm is weighted towards "spooky" words, it could also be listening for peoples voices and weights words that seem relevant to what it hears, which would explain it saying Dan's name and "devil" immediately after Rick said it.

I'm a believer in good and bad entities. I've experienced some very strange stuff. One night I was invited by a good friend of mine to a sleepover at his friend's house in Hudson Valley, New York which was built in the 1800s. I had never been to this house before. The second I came in, I had instant goosebumps. Not only was the art in the house creepy, but so was the overall vibe of the whole house even though it was modernized and had tons of natural light. When it was time to go to bed, I was put in a room upstairs with a fireplace and although I was extremely tired, I just couldn't bring myself to fall asleep without staring at the wall in front of the bed. The whole temperature was cold compared to the rest of the house. It took me about an hour or two to fall asleep. The next morning they told me someone committed suicide in the room I was sleeping in, and someone also got shot and killed in the entrance of the home, and their body was stuffed into the closet next to the front door, which explains why I got goosebumps walking in, and why I had such a hard time falling asleep in that room.

My company hosted a Christmas party in one of their ballrooms back in the late 70's/early 80's. It's a shame to see how it's fared. Impressive video, however I do think some of the noise is the building itself, it's old and despite renovations, it is still sitting on an old foundation. It's almost a microcosm of Baltimore City itself in many ways.

Dan, one of your best films! Foreboding, spine tingling and darkly magical - in other words, SpOoKy. What a treat! PS: I know you want it to be the pipes, but I can hear them talking in your room. If you amplify the sound, you'll hear it too. If you want them to leave, something you can try (that doesn't require a big ceremony) is telling them they're bothering you, ask them nicely but firmly to leave and say a prayer for the lost to find their way home and send them with love. Then throw open the windows, light some candles & put a funny movie on to cleanse and raise the vibration. Negative energies don't like happy, light spaces. Stop talking about them in your house and don't listen for them - basically, ignore them. Good luck and try not to be freaked out - it's going to be okay. 💜

This reminds me a lot of the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. My wife and I stayed there a few years ago. I slept with no issues, but she experienced some really strange stuff, including the bathroom light turning on by itself, hearing the sounds of children laughing, and sleep paralysis. And this was on the floor that the hotel told us wasn't supposed to be haunted.

Hello from northern California! I love your videos! I never expected to live in a haunted house either, but we did. So many weird things would happen, and then, months passed as if whatever was there was gone. Then, it would return. We lived in old military housing, so we had to stay until we were transferred elsewhere. I truly believe it was some old military officer, and old codger... Items would disappear, and reappear. I had a beautiful quilt mounted on the wall behind the bed, made by my husband's great grandmother. One night, I awoke and there was an apparition of a man in uniform, dress blues, standing on the bed! He seemed to be touching/inspecting the quilt! At one point I had my hair pulled, and my husband was bopped along the side of his head. I would be in the basement doing laundry. I would hear footsteps upstairs in the living room, and no one was home, but me. I was truly glad when it was time to move on... Bright Blessings and Many Smiles!
