Being a former Homeland Security guy, LMAO at that comment! We would get into trouble if we stayed longer than required. Most would find the door sooner than their normal time off, and the whole "telework" thing was entirely abused. They would be on the beach or shopping, and all they had to do was answer the phone while pretending to be working. That is one thing Trump should work on, is equality (private vs federal sector). Pick any job title in the private sector, and the salary in the Federal sector would be double or more, for the same experience. Oh I could go on!

I love how Rick imparts his knowledge (or even interpretive knowledge) when he does a tour of every place. It adds to the mystique and often gives the viewer an eerie sense of depth to what happened in these abandoned places. Even understanding simple concepts like how the mechanics/engineering systems work is rather fascinating. I didn’t see a bare foot print but those do look like scuff marks. It’s too weird that they’re only in the closet in that spot. I’d be willing to bet that someone was there while these guys were in there. I too noticed all the broken glass on the stairs and as soon as I saw it I thought it looked placed there on purpose. I think someone is living up in the attic where the hello kitty thing was. They set a sort of alarm with the glass and had the room padlocked so they could hide in there if anyone came to the house. That’s most likely who slammed the doors a few times. Idk what’s scarier... the thought of ghosts or the thought that someone crazy enough to live in the attic of a house like that was there stalking around in the dark the whole time.

Speaking of EVP, I once had this toy spy-kit when I was about 11 years old. It had a 10 second voice record, a sound amplifier for hearing through walls n such. I was sound recording my video gsme to listen back on funny clips, playing it back I got an old black woman singing soft & soulfully, "Tell me whyy doo, yoououououuuu..." The apartment complex was previously an elderly assisted living home with about 50 apartments. Same apartment my Mother saw an old black man sitting on her toilet.

When I was young and my little sister was born we had a baby monitor for her room. Around 1990. My mom kept hearing voices on it that werent the baby. In fact it sounded like people shouting back and forth. Clearly men and women but we couldn’t make out what they were saying. One day my dad finally cracked the case. Somehow it was picking up the Chinese takeout orders from the restaurant below our building. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think there definitely was a young female staying there, like you said, possibly a runaway. That stuff looked like it was still being used. And when you guys looked around, there were plenty of hiding places you never checked where she could have been. Just my 2 cents.

Yup!....The bathtub tipped on its side against the wall for one, also there were many doors that they didn't check. Another spot was the other bathroom with the toilet, it went further in an around the corner but he didn't go check. Honestly IMHO these guys laugh off their fear and subconsciously keep from searching deeper . They DONT want to find either a dead body or worse a live one with bad intentions. Many homeless people have serious mental health problems esp with social interaction, which is the reason they would live in a building like that. I've ran into homeless people who want NO help they want nothing given to them and rather eat from a garbage can than receive a handout. These types will actually snap and have moments of rage because of serious mental health problems. My biggest fear with walking into these types of buildings isn't ghost but homeless folks that might see you as breaking into their home and then defending it with a knife or baseball bat. I recommend these guys should be equipped with pepper spray and also a sidearm cause its a very CRAZY world out there. Anyways , the chair and matress thing along with preteen items concerns me big time. Those things are not normal to see up there, I would have called the police to report that find cause it was very out of place.

Hagerstown md here. I managed the RadioShack up until 2011 when they finally left the Frederick Town mall. When we closed the store, the mall only had Cvs, hallmark, some Spanish $5 and under store and a seamstress place open. It was so spooky at night and just downright depressing working In that place.
