One thing I have learnt living in another region or country, never speak negative or talk down about another country's food. Just say it and pass.. if their food is weird, your food too is weird to another person. Emu tuo is eating in Ghana, even Nigerians eat it and I know in the northern part of Nigeria eat emu tuo which they call tuwo shinkafa. So here you are talking down of another man's food, but your country people eat it. You talk about Ghanaians eat milk with spaghetti, some Ghanaians can tell you who eats garri with fried fish or meat; that is also weird to another person. In life, don't make it sound like your food is the best and then say another is bad or weird. Just say it, respect it as their cultural food and pass...

@akwasiowusuansah63292 жыл бұрын
@The JumzTV It was the performance of those batches. Averagely, their results were far superior to the 3 year. Because of that, some of those of 3 year program had to stay home because of cut off point for the entry to the University. The four year results were massive compared to 3 year. It was a political decision to abandon it because government thought additional one year is additional money, otherwise it was a visionary approach. Completing school early with no knowledge acquired is empty, after all some of us went to secondary school for seven years and could come back to teach in the same school without University education. 👏

Literally, the 4years was introduce because the government at that time and some stakeholders in the education sector believed that most students coming out of the 3years system couldn't easily comprehend what was being taught and also most of the teachers couldn't finish their topics. (Mathematics, Integrated Science, English studies and Social Studies). So the 4years was introduced. Now to you question. "Did the four years helped?". My answer is yes it did help.I for one was part of that system (2008-2012) with 2012 under review, this batch who sat for the wassce came out with flying colours. For example, a lot passed the core subjects I mentioned earlier because previously they were passing their electives whiles failing the core subjects. This happened because teachers were able to finish the topics in time and students had enough time to prepare for their exams. This really helped some of us when we got to the university. I hope this little explanation helps you to understand " Why" it was changed from 3years to 4years. Thank you.
@bentilmanasseh54646 ай бұрын
The introduction of the four years came about because the government felt students were indirectly being forced to learn too much in less time that’s the three years, so they wanted to add one more year so the teachers can relax and teach the students and also people were going to the uni at a very younger age , so government wanted to increase the time spent at SHS , so at least before you enter uni, you’d have matured enough to be independent
