Blessed Love to all King and Queens of Rastafari. I am blessed to be live a livity of Rastafari. I grew up in Brooklyn and Queens NYC. My mother was a missionary in church. I grew up in a mostly christian home. I always new that I was more than just a religion person. I was a spiritual being. I am proud to be a Rasta Empress. This journey has not been easy for me. I know that this was my journey in life. I love the natural state of me being a Rasta Empress has help me in raising my daughter as a single mother. My daughter is now 22dyrs old. I often prayed to Jah for a Rasta King to be married to. This will happen in June 2017. My Rasta Kingman is from Jamaica, He is also a Rastaman. The difference is that he was born into a Rasta family, so it alot of learning from him. He is learning from me as well. We are looking forward to starting our new journey as husband and wife. I would like to be apart of this as a Rasta Empress. Jah Rastafari

Love and respect from San Diego and Tijuana. I don't have dreads and I'm not a vegetarian. But I'm trying to change my diet. My main focus is Peace and Love. Living in a community helping others in need and sharing what I have with those around me.

If you love humanity, if you love earth, if you want to live in positivity and if you share love with your fellow man - you are living the Rasta way of life. Vegetarianism, struggle for rights, truth, precious life, love - who can argue with that concept? Live everyday to the full, reach your goals and dreams and just be happy that you have your health!! Peace and Love. RastafarI!

this documentary made me cry tears of joy. I've been searching for a way to go off and live a simple life away from the greed that dictates modern society for quite some time now. Rastafarianism seems like a lifestyle of simplicity and peace. the only think i worry about is not being accepted for my skin color. (yes i do realize that in this video you said no one is judged for their skin color as a rasta, but could it still be a possibility?)

Jah is the name of God, as in Hallelujah = you must praise Jah! Jah is actually the short form of the so called tetragrammaton YHWH i.e. 4 letter name of God as given in the Bible, commonly vocalised as either Yahweh or Jehovah unfortunately mostly written away as The Lord. So, Jah Bless, means May God bless you!

@BigLittlePlanet Just because Rastafarians promote ife, livity, kindness and love, doen't mean they are going to accept and or promote everything Babylon promotes. A bigpart of the Rastafarian faith thatthis video convientanly left out, was that Rastafarianism, was established, and mainly promotes, Afro-centrism, and a connections to your roots and culture. As well, as adhering to main principles of the Bible. One of the main ones, is man should not sleep with man..etc..

@bronxshawty16 Sizzla Kalonji is a Jamaican rastafari reggea artist. A concert he was going to have in Canada (if i remember correctly) never happened because some of his songs had homofobic lyrics. Ofcourse they can be rastafari and oppose homosexuality, but not neccesarily because of their religion.

As good as this video is, it presents the 12 tribes interpretation. I subscribe to the Bobo belief that Rastafari is for melanated people. The fire burns rampant in my belly!!!! BOBO MI SEH!!!! Haile.

Hailsalasie of Ethiopia had lions in his palace which he gave food and yet his people in North Ethiopia were dying of hunger. Today there's a war going on in Ethiopia between themselves because of impunity, greed and segregation. The president of that country has segregated the people from North Ethiopia and that's why they are fighting. It's a big shame for rastas to tell the world that Ethiopia is where kings and queens belong yet they are doing wrong to their own.

My Sister your place will be were the King is, in New Yerushalayim in the Father's House, with the God of Isra'el, there is were Rastafari want his children to be, so when time come to go, Go because all old things become dust, don't look back, don't go back to get nothing just run to the King, The Holy One of Isra'el is blessing you, Amen. Shalom.

Not many people know this: "Rastafari has certain rules that apply only to women. Whilst early Rastafarians probably followed these rules strictly, women tend to have more freedom in modern Rastafarian society. -Women are known as Queens -The main role of women is to look after their King -Women are regarded as subordinate to men -Women are regarded as housekeepers and child bearers -Women must not commit infidelity -Women are not called to Rastafari except through their husbands -Women cannot be leaders -Men are the spiritual head of the family -Women must not cook for their husbands when menstruating -Women must not wear makeup, dress in promiscuous clothing, or use chemicals in their hair -Women must not use birth control, as it is regarded as a European tactic to suppress the development of the African population. -Women must also abstain from abortion which is regarded as murder -Women must cover their hair to pray, in keeping with the Biblical teaching in 1 Corinthians 11:5: "And any woman who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with nothing on her head disgraces her husband..."
