It’s not surprising that the late Glenn Frey, founding member of the Eagles, called LRB “the best singing band in the world”.

Saw what remains of the Band in Edmonton Alberta Canada about 3 years ago. Great memories from the 70's, they were my favorite band as a teenager.

Thank you for this. I always love discovering "new" music from the 70's! I don't own LRB's debut album. I'm sure I heard this on the radio when it charted, but forgot it long ago. LRB were big, but still under-rated and under-appreciated.

This song takes me back to highschool when a girl named Arlene Feldscher (sp?) told me this was her favorite song...it used to play on the Miami radio station SHE 103.5, an all album, all rock FM station. Great memories! Thanks!

Yes - they used all sorts of musical taglines...LOL! Absolutley remember WQAM on the AM dial. All we had was an AM radio in the Dodge Duster. Used to listen to them while waiting in the gas lines during the embargo! If I recall, WQAM changed their format to country music to compete with WWOK, the main country station. Everyone wanted to be country in the late 70s - "Urban Cowboy" and such. Good stuff! Bill

The recording process and equipment sounded better back then than it does now. This has a warm sound. Today's recordings sound too clean and clinical.

Many influences in this band . Mcgardale left in 79 to get closer to Christ. Beeb Birtles was also a Christian in his band n the lyrics are clear n make sense in the confines of the faith

The lead guitar has a George Harrison feel to this, not such a bad thing,a great feel to this song, Australian I believe the band are, I could be wrong,a seventies gutsy feel in the middle of the song,a great single for its time

Great CHRISTIAN SONG. Encyclopedia Of Contemporary Christian Music documents Birtles n Gobles Christian views, n unless you listen to this with that mindset, the song is confusing
