Yeah, this is awesome. Certainly a tribute to the great Spinners band. They were the best. But Hall & Oates are fantastic in their own right. They definitely add a lot of mojo to the song. The Sax player is great. I hope and wish everyone to be well, happy and healthy.

Its all the Philadelphia sound. Hall & Oates, Spinners, Linda Creed, Ojays, Teddy P, MFSB, Gamble and Huff, Todd Rundgren, Dexter Wansel, Patti Labelle, etc. They used strings in their songs a lot and ruled the 70s. Its like proto-disco and mid 70s disco. They all did it.

D.G. Wilson indeed, in fact, Daryl credits Bobby and Phillipe as two of his biggest influences. The fact is, Daryl and John were just as heavily involved in TSOP as Tommy Bell and Gamble and Huff were at the time - they picked where the Spinners left off, around 1976.
