I did a full review of some watercolor pencils a while ago, and in my experience they pretty much never erase after being wet (aside from super minimally, which you experienced), and erase okay-ish before being wet but not super great (which you also experienced.). Water-soluble graphite is a super weird thing.

I like how portable the watercolor markers are. Like you don’t need to worry about messing up an actual set, just scribble on your palette. Then throw the cap on when you’re ready to go.

the Zig Dot is sometimes used for Stippling from what I've seen. So if you want to make it closer to a comic feel close up, you can use the larger end to make the stippling for larger peices (more dots together to get your darks, and fewer farther apart dots to get your lights). You can do the same with paint (but people know that as Pointillism and the point of that is putting two separate colors of dots next to each other and if you pull back your eye mixes the color itself. A Sunday on La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat is done by Pointilism)

I am thinking of buying an art box, but I don't know which is better: Artsnacks OR Scrawlrbox If you have advice please help!

I haven't gotten a Scrawlrbox yet, but I can say that for its price, Artsnacks was pretty good. I got the normal box for three months, and each one cost $24. Each time, the materials inside cost more than the box, which is good. Everything I got from the box was something I hadn't previously had, which is also good. The only thing I could even think of as a problem was that it's kind of difficult to use all the supplies in tandem with each other, but since Waffles can do it fine, it's obviously not a huge issue. I think, if you want a relatively inexpensive box and unique art supplies, and don't mind occasionally using your own supplies as well, go for Artsnacks. However, if you don't have a lot of art supplies around, and want to get some with a lot of uses, I'd say Scrawlrbox is probably a better buy, because they give you paper and some larger, all-around use art supplies. But a Scrawlrbox is twice as expensive as a normal Artsnacks box, so if price is a problem, maybe don't. Sorry this was so long, I just wanted to give my own input as a normal person who's not nearly as good at art as Waffles. I hope it helped, at least a little!

I really dont recommend art boxes because all the supplies are kinda novelty and gimmicky that you dont really use on a normal basis and they're just like,, fun things to have- which is perfect if you're a youtuber, but as a normal artist they're all just kinda "oh it's a marker, just shaped differently!" Or something like that. But if you really do like and want to get random weird art supplies, I would suggest only getting Scrawlrbox if you live in the UK. Otherwise the shipping takes forever and is a little more pricey. Artsnacks is US-based and may be a little better on your wallet.

It depends upon your art level, if you're more of a beginner (like me) but still want a bit more art supplies than I suggest getting Scrawlrbox. The only negative to that is that Scrawlrbox takes a while to get to the U.S. if you live in the u.s. Artsnacks I haven't tried, but there is two choices you can get. Artsnacks + (what you see in this video) and regular artsnacks which is a really small box and I don't think you get paper, or if you do it's small. Scrawlrbox comes with normal sized paper, and it's usually toned if you're interested in that. I think Scrawlrbox challenges you more. The February box some of the art supplies was glitter and a glue pen, so I think that would challenge you to be more creative in your art piece. I don't know Artsnacks price, but Scrawlrbox is 15 us dollars.
