Tho shall not judge, judgement is for the lord. For he that has not sinned throw first stone. A real Commander and Chief, keeps his loyal Generals alive safe protected ,for their tactical expertise productively and longevity. You can NOT win constant battles wars, with a Egomaniacal kamikaze suicide bomber mindset, demanding full loyalty when you have rigged and mined your own headquarters to blow, knowing your enemy is listening in, just to keep the Gotti Trade Mark going, and killing the real meaning of old ways La costra nostra. Sammy the Bull, had to be Sammy the mongoose, in a pit of snakes and vipers. Gotti knew he was fucked and he didnt want Sammy to become boss, he wanted his son too.

It’s just a story about life. Sammy is a great story teller, and he lived a life of high profile crime. The sad part about it is there are tons of kids that are damaged for life or killed by street violence with no hope of it ever going away. It’s interesting because you are hearing stories that are most likely a safe way for people to hear things like this and safer for people to try and imagine things like this without being involved. That is why police shows or movies with violence will always be attractive to people. It’s a safe way of feeling apart of it without having to be involved in it. I listen and watch things like this to remember that I got myself out of a life of violence and tragedy and things like this make me remember the people on both sides of it are affected and ask for my higher power to know I try and live everyday as a blessing and ask for forgiveness from the people and families I personally affected. Nothing wrong with your comment it is totally normal, and no one should judge your reasons for wanting to hear stories like this.

@@themaskedsinger.8861 it’s a scary thing that so many don’t have it. The ones that are really dangerous are those that think they know everything and can’t sit back and just listen to others perspectives because they think they have everything in life figured out already. I will never stop trying to learn and listen and give myself as many choices as possible to give myself the best chance at making the right choices. Everyone should have to learn the hard way once, but if shit just keeps going wrong and your not willing to advance in life, it’s gonna be a long or short but guaranteed unhappy existence.

@@heavywatertr3ad I was hit with birdshit by my buddy & it did no more than leave a shit load of bleeding holes in my buttcheek. We were running across a field & he fell & blew my ass off, lol. BUT, I also know a guy who was shot in the legs with birdshot & his calf muscle was blown off so it depends how far away the guy is. For sure if your running, you wont go down. @@Johnnyrocks34 Frank chill. In high school we use to call these guys jock sniffers. Could not get on a football field, but dreamed about being good enough to play.. The podcasts are entertaining to listen to, but you[re right, you can't allow yourself to become a "Mob SImp" in the process. As engaging as Sammy is, I would love to see an overlay, of some kind of a philosophical perspective or morality lesson that is useful to the young people listening to these broadcasts. Has looking back on this life matured him in anyway? Has he gleaned any important insights from his time in the life that he could share? Has he grown from this at all or has he simply found a way to remonetize his violent past in a legal way? If so, not sure I want to be party to that. The difference between Gravano and Franchese, is the latter uses his experiences in the life to promote a spiritual transformation in the man. It will be interesting to see if Sammy's podcasts, as interesting as they are-he's a great story teller- eventually evolve along similar lines.

Get weapons involved in any situation, it's all too easy for someone to lose their life. Doing something, doing nothing, not always an easy choice to make. I too hope that the boy's family has found closure despite how incredibly unfortunate the situation was. That boy didn't make the right call in that situation, but it's not like he could have known, and he acted with courage. A lot of men ain't as brave as that boy was, hope he rests peacefully.
