Andrea I've made several of your sweaters and I love them. I have a knitting question that evidently I need a visual to completely understand because I just can't get it right on the first try. Can you show us how to measure the correct length to make a yoke before the armhole stitches should be put on hold. I've never found a picture showing the yoke on a body in comparison to under the arm. Thank you so much.❤

Thank you for the weekly bit of sunshine, as always! For the person wondering about knitting the correct sweater length: I like to measure the row gauge from my finished swatch, then multiply it by the length it says to knit to in the pattern. I then use a row counter for every row/round to get the exact result. Easy, and great for pieced sweaters to ensure your length is uniform for both.

So, at around 19:50, when you say the length stated to knit to in the pattern is shorter than the finished, blocked length, that is assuming that your pre-washed gauge also matches the knitters pre-washed gauge. Doesn’t it?

I use JMCO for all my toe-up socks and it works amazingly well. I do make sure to snug up the turns (corners), especially for the first couple of increase rows.

Any worries about steeking not holding - 2 rows of stitching either side of intended cut. Can dry needle felt the steeked sides for extra hold.

I have a doubt: when the recipe says (sl2 wyib,k2 ) you mean that I will not knit these 2 stitches only the other colour thread passes behind? or all stiches must be knitted?.
