Being new to Dans music, I have found others in my area are unaware of his amazing talent. I want to send out a challenge to those who enjoy his talent. Find two people each day who do not know him and share his songs. Today, I shared it with a server at a BBQ restaurant and the stylist at a salon. Dan Vasc Gesthemeni from Jesus Christ is Superstar is one of my favorite performances. Yes performance not just his voice since he puts so much into every song he does. The movie version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical came out in 1973 and played on TV near Easter in Canada for the next 30 or so years. I would know. If I was with my grandmother she would complain about it not taking the subject serious enough yet sit us all down to watch it. If I was with my mother we would sing along with it. Believe it or not while not religious what so ever I still love some of the songs from the play. This and the version from the 1973 movie are my favorite performances and I have looked at many others. To have one be as good as the original is the highest praise I think I can offer. It is also the one song my grandmother hated the most as it has impressive belts that make it one of the more difficult songs to sing. 😊
