I really like the way you broke things down. Helped me make a more informed decision about doing it or not. Which in my case not. Thank you!

It shoul be RIPOFFY, not wrapify. They did not pay without constant babysitting, they damaged the paint on my car and left a residue on my car to the tune of $4000+ in damages. Now, 5 weeks after removal, i still have not heard from the wrapify "damage team" about repairs.
@NoirInColor Жыл бұрын
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't encounter any paint damage. Yeah, pay was something you had to stay on top of with them. Thanks for sharing your experience, my hope is that Wrapify will see your comment and follow up with you.

I can hope, but so far it's not promising. I did send another message to support today. We shall see. 😂😂😂

Listening again, I wanted to mention the pay. My total earnings for 3 months wrap was $417.17. No where near the estimate they advertise. Also, they did not put a beacon in my car. My pay was based on the app only. I also drive for Amazon flex and cover as much as 250 miles per day. Pay for only 25-35 miles by wrapify, IF you are in the campaign and hot zones, is ridiculous. Wrapify was not cost effective. I was offered 2 swarms. The first was canceled due to weather. The second I accepted a week later and, also due to weather, only 3 of us showed up. 2 drivers and the photographer. There was no one there representing wrapify. The two of us drove around the 4 block area. It took us an hour to drive 4 circuits. 15 minutes each to drive 4 blocks in downtown Nashville on Saturday night. Oh my mileage tracker for the IRS is my odometer as I RARELY drive otherwise. My wrap was also removed at another location, farther from my home. When they installed it. I stayed in the car and kept an eye on their property. The car was done after about 6 hours. We inspected the damage where they peeled paint off of my hatch and I left. When it was removed, I sat in the shop and watched. I was not about to leave it unattended again. The guy was great and I was out the door in 30 minutes. It was about 2 weeks later when I noticed the residue left from the wrap on my car. I felt it while sitting inside the car with the window down. I noticed the different feel. I amended the damage claim to cover both. Oh, if anyone files a damage claim, SCREENSHOT IT. They don't email you a copy. I'm still afraid I will not get my car fixed without a legal battle.

I'm currently in a Wrapify campaign and never paid a dime for my wrap and have made as much as $400 within 2 weeks. There are opportunities to make extra money by just driving a Swarm which can pay up to $75 an hour. It's easy money. This is for people who enjoy driving. Driving is my hobby so this works for me.

I have heard that there is a qualification that the qualifying car can’t have more than a certain amount of miles on it (in addition to being 2010 or later). Have you heard of this? Can you confirm?
@NoirInColor Жыл бұрын
Hi. No, I have not heard of this for Wrapify. However, they are fully transparent about what the requirements are for the car on their website. They didn't ask about mileage when I signed up, they were mainly just concerned about the car's appearance more than anything.
@brandonallison37847 ай бұрын
Don’t do it. App did not correctly track mileage. My car was damaged when they removed the wrap and Wrapify is now trying to tell me that there was pre-existing damage when there was not and I have pictures proving that there wasn’t.

Why even use a 3rd party?! Why not put together a contract or contracts with small-midsize businesses yourself and charge them a deposit to cover the installation and removal of the wrap plus a monthly fee based on anticipated mileage.
@NoirInColor Жыл бұрын
Because the appeal of this side hustle is that most drivers are only interested in doing this in addition to doing Doordash, uber, Uber Eats, or Lyft. It's not something they'd prefer getting into as an actual business venture. They'd still need to find someone to do the installation. The 3rd party holds the key to the installation and removal process.

So. . .a few math problems here with your numbers. First and foremost, unless you were driving those miles strictly for the purpose of advertising, the .65 cents a mile is a huge blessing to you, that is money you don't have to pay self employment tax on. So rather than subtract that from what you make you should ADD 15% of .65 to what you made with wrapify. Second, you can't write off 100% of the miles you drive because you have wrapify. Legally you can write off the miles you are making money which is 25 a day. So overall, you make money for what you are paid and 15% of your write-off, so 25 miles a day, 30 days a month is about 73 dollars extra you aren't paying to taxes.

Hi there, thanks for providing feedback, nevertheless I hope you enjoyed the video. A typical gig worker's profit margins for daily work far exceed this attempt to make additional income for themselves. It was not a "huge" blessing.
@jonathanandtrishavlogs68744 ай бұрын
She clearly doesn’t have a solid job and thought of this as her primary job lol. I drive far to work everyday and earning some free gas and write offs on tax is indeed a blessing. Some people are just extremely self entitled.
