The only thing I would agree with them over rather than you is that they should be as just free to show you as you can show them (this is where Charlie Veitch takes a good approach because he takes that line) but GDPR is always pointed out, interesting in that you nearly had him slightly on side and he was going to show you the cars until you said you wouldn't reveal your channel but I do get the point that if they know that they could submit a privacy complaint to KZbin. GDPR is a bit of a grey area because KZbin is an organisation so if I was an auditor (wish I was can't really get around but have now got a Go Pro) I wouldn't bang on about GDPR at all (like UK Meet The Tyrants does all the time as well) because it might ultimately go against auditors if KZbin is seen as an organisation rather than them as individuals particularly in that videos are monetised making them commercial, instead go at it that we should have the right to film and take photos in a free and open society and that places open to the public shouldn't be treated as if they were someones house or garden (ie shopping centres trying to force you not to be able to film) all that stuff I'm against but don't want GDPR restrictions on companies either we should ALL be free!

Try the Exeter VW showroom. There will be 15 staff sitting at computers playing games and if it was like my experience, no one will try to sell me a brand new car at 40k. Given their attitude, if you walk in with a camera they might all get up scared you caught them all playing computer games and social media. Never been able to get any service in VW but i do buy a fair amount of brand new cars since 1983. I drove in, in a Volvo XC40 just 3 years old and top of the range. It did appear i could buy a VW.
