You could have revealed Nyxbloom with Omnath because Nyxbloom has three mana symbols in its mana cost. Omnath doesn't care about having a three-colored card on top of your library - the card on top just has to have three (or more) colored mana symbols. So you can reveal Nyxbloom with Omnath to add three green mana, because Nyxbloom has three green mana symbols in his mana cost. Same thing with Sea Gate Restoration.

The reason people usually can't interact after teferi's protection is because their mana sources are phased out, but floating mana gets around that, as does a spell being free (i.e Force of Will) Of note about the hand, something which targets a player won't work because Teferi's Protection prevents targeting the player who cast it, but an effect which makes all players discard would still affect the Teferi's Protection caster

I'm so sad he missed it. He had 38 Mana. Wishclaw + Nyxbloom goes down to 31 Mana (because of Immortal Sun). So he could've cast Villainous Wealth for X = 90, which would've left opponent dead on their draw step. So Seth, you technically also missed lethal there.

At 53:10, Nyxbloom Ancient was able to be revealed because Omanth cares "if it has three or more coloured mana symbols" not if it has three or more *DIFFERENT* coloured mana symbols. Reading the card explains the card.

One of my favorite Game Knights tilt moments is seeing this card come out and turning the game around. I want to say Josh cast it but it might have been Post Malone...But either way I opened one and currently run it in Nine Fingers Kine. Funny thing is I have had a Phyrexian Omnath for ages and wasn't sure what to put it...I might just have to build a budget version of this and overload it with the monoblack resources I didn't realize Omnath can fuel so easily. EDIT: Spending 1 floating mana for Talisman and 3 for the Nyxbloom and tapping 3 green sources leaves 22 untapped mana sources and 8 floating black, which turns into a total of 74 mana with Nyxbloom for a Villainous Wealth of X=71. EDIT 2: Opponent had 73 cards at the time, so _almost_ decking them but not quite.

My best showing of Wealth was a Zaxara X spell commander deck. Now, I didn't have Omnath strats at the time but I did access infinite mana with Pemmin's Aura on Zaxara, used it to cast Villainous for X=100, stole one player's entire deck, and used it to win the game! Feels like this but much much harder to acquire 😅

My friend uses Tasigur but for me it was also Zaxara. I had a budget build and even without the doublers or infinite, I was able to several times cast for 30+. I'd usually win with some combo that came from opponents decks. I tend to not like winning with combo but if it's the opponents combo then I don't feel bad at all about winning that way. How can they complain about it if it's their cards?

This quickly became my 2nd favorite magic card. I do some REALLY dumb things in Commander with this card! it's SOOO much fun to just drop a massive wealth & then recur it with Tasigur. The key is knowing your opponents and picking the right person :)

That Lavinia match was an insane game. So many Seth punts (farewell on enchantments to deal with ecd's reanimation effect and not on artifacts, not casting removal off chimil even though it makes spells uncounterable, casting wealth into Thalia.) Then for it to end by the brawl prison deck player to salt rope.

Mindsplice Apparatus breaks X spells like villanous wealth. Especially if you find out a way to copy artifacts and double/proliferate counters, which in blue/green/black is really easy. I once exiled someones 187 card library on arena.

At around 53:13 it's asking to reveal because omnath cares about three colored mana symbols, not 3 colors. Ancient is 3 green so omnath would have given you three green mana, not that it would have made a difference that turn

My Stupid Sexy Ian Malcolm (Tasigur) deck is a villainous wealth deck. It's trying to birthing pod the commander into a nyxbloom and get out a doubling cube. Basically get as much mana as possible without going infinite (anyone can make infinite mana, big mana without going infinite is way cooler) and cast villainous wealth or Lab man + Stroke of Genius as a backup plan
