Hint: To manage the “plies” (strings to form the yarn), I thread the yarn through a bead. Work your project through the loose end and bead slides along the yarn, keeping the plies together. 😊

Off topic, but went to Michael's earlier today, not my regular one, to get yarn and knitting needles, scissors,etc for a hospitalized friend. While there looked for Red Heart Unforgettable to work up guage for my next project. They don't have it and can't find it on line, but found a very comparable substitute ,Yarn/Laine Facets/Facettes , and got that. Sales person turned out to be the manager and she was Soooo helpful. Overall good selection ,lot's of yarn cakes for my friend , and wonderful experience. Got everything I needed in one stop and in person with enough time to go out with husband for a great BBQ rib dinner at a new restaurant. 😊😁

That's so beautiful and I think the ounce difference is the charm at the end. The super big yarn would be beautiful as a landscape blanket. Pull from the brown to start because as it pulls out of the skein, it will naturally landscape to the top of whites orange and yellows! Gorgeous 😍

Wow! I LOVE the Fairytale cake. The iridescent glitter strand reminds me of an Opal. I jumped to the Etsy store to check them out. I would probably have to double strand a project, it's a very fine yarn, but I wouldn't have the heart to put it with anything else but another skein of itself. (8 strands) It almost seems a shame to make a blanket out of it, because you are right, Crystal...that yarn screams shawl! Thank you for sharing!

Brandi is awesome. Part of the thrill of using this yarn is getting TK's (tiny knots) it is so exciting to see the colors shift one tiny thread at a time. I know you don't ususally use yarn this fine, but if you do end up using it, hopefully it will bring you joy as you are working your project. These cakes make stunning works of art.
