Nivea is great! It has always been a staple in my family growing up aspecially in winter times when temperature went below 20°C. If you warm it up with your hands, it gets absorbed streight away! I have dry skin and love it, but summers can be really hot, I sweat a lot and in the summer my skin tends to normal, sometimes even gets greasy in the T-zone, so occasionally I switch to something "lighter" and sometimes also pick a pea size of Nivea and same amount of another cream and I mix 'em together between my fingers like when warming it up and then put it on my face. I picked up that hack from a very old dermatologist when my kid had eczema at age 5. She'd flare up once or twice a year, but it would never go away completely and practicly had really dry, scaley areas all over her body and the cream he gave me was soo expensive and in a small amounts like facial creams and would last me a month or less, since I had to apply it every day on the affected areas. Then he told me to dilute the cream with Nivea and I started having even better results, becouse she passed from scaley dry, to normal dry skin in a few weeks! So basicly, we got rid of eczema with one visit and every day hydration that lasted several years and then she just grew out of it at some point of elementary school! Unfortunatly she has oily skin now, so no more Nivea for her... but her skin is really great: no disoloration or hyperpigmentation, her new skin routine is extremely simple and with very few basic products and she hardly ever gets a pimple even when masks were mandatory in class, at work and even public places!

Listen, I have used la mer for extended periods of time (I cant rationalize using it right now) but really IS that good- it's pretty much magical. "Special sauce" is a very complex fermentation process that entails hand harvesting a kind of sea kelp, grown in protected waters. ** I've done alot of research over 20 years of using it (to justify the purchase during kinder times) so I have fact-checked every word I'm saying.×××× The kelp grows specifically in the water off the coast of California/Oregon/ Washington /Alaska and the giant sea kelp that grows more than a foot every day and sustainably harvested only during specific lunar cycles--- then immediately iced, and within the same day, is hand delivered to the max huber labs in new york where it's immediately subjected to the during specific moon cycles (it sounds "woo-woo" I know, but I'm tellin ya!) Then a proprietary process, created by a NASA physicist over 7 years and after thousands of tests over 12 years -to heal burn wounds he got in a laboratory fire. Again, I have fact checked all of this over 20 years, cause I've wondered if I was just psycho-symatically affirming that it was it was as awesome as my imagination made it seem. For a 3 month period the kelp is made into a serum through constant exposure to light & sound waves. Miracle broth- the special sauce or whatever is the result of the proprietary process (one that a) HEALED his skin and b) este Lauder purchased the formula after max huber- the physicist guy died- and left it to his daughter for, and correct me if it's give or take a few years- it's been a second and my memory isn't what it used to be, a hundres millions dollars. I wouldn't comment at all if I didn't have first hand expertise with the products. The freaking results (give it about 2 months of using it AS DIRECTED. ) is not even remotely similar to that of Nivea. And you literally have to use a pea sized amount of la mer for your entire face- it lasts forever! It's weird and, being a skeptic, I don't want to believe it but its just the truth! Your skin changes into a naturally bright and younger looking, firm version of what you wished your skin was had always been. reaIly really, really amazing!

I've switched to Nivea a month ago and i can't express how happy i am with the results. It took about a week of applying twice a day but I'm now addicted. My skin is always glowimg and it seems to have made my skin tone even and overall nice and smooth. I will never go back to any other moisturizer. They say applying nivea daily keeps your skin firmer and younger, I'm 27, I'll get back to you in 20 years with results! 😂❤ I apply the bottled one and creme for a little extra shine.

Ugh, can't stand the smell and feeling of Nivea on my skin. Although I have dry patches, but no, not for me.😅

Same here, I can’t stand the fragrance. I can’t even use it on my body, the smell is too strong. Please NEVIA make one FRAGRANCE FREE ppl will appreciate it.

@@isagoldfield7393 They do! I believe it's marketed towards sensitive skin (or says something like that on the bottle). It also has a pump

I do agree that it is great for dry skin, but from my experience it gave me a rash because of the heavy fragrance. It's still great for other dry body parts tho.

I use neither of these products, though I have tried both. Have never understood how anyone can tolerate the excessive fragrance in all Nivea products.

For your information, Nivea's ingredient paraffinum liquidium contains MOAH (Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons) which does not make it a recommandable product.

My grandma only used Nivea and she had hardly any wrinkle or dry skin. Nivea is really good. Maybe not for everyone. But is really good

I have been using Nivea since a Kid , it's actually the only thick creme moisturizer I tend to use especially in winters even though I have oily skin , it's a great moisturizer extremely rich and in my opinion and not to mention so affordable 😂😂😂 And can we also talk about the fact that Nivea has been around since our Grandparents time🤣🤣🤣☺️☺️☺️☺️an oldie but a goodie indeed !

My dry skin looooves Nivea. I shower in the evening and use this as a moisturizer after that. It does take a while to absorb, but my skin is really nice in the morning. 😊

I love this, i use this everyday and people tell me i'm 16 when i'm currently just turned 25🤣 I have dry to oily skin so this is perfect for me, i have seen less breakouts and whiteheads after using this cream. I also use this in my home spa treatments as a massage cream, sooooo relaxing

Thank you for speaking the truth! I always find Nivea cream hard to spread on face…but in terms of hydration, it’s always wonderful

This blue Nivea and oil of Olay in a little glass bottle were our home creams all in childhood. That's a few decades back guys. Love the smell and texture.

I remember my grandma and the fishermen community using this but I never thought of using it on my face because of lanolin. I’ll Do my research 🧐
@mozorellastick25832 жыл бұрын
Lanolin now is marketed in very expensive skin care products as a super ingredient. Funny how marketing works, but it is completely safe to use on the face, some may just find it too heavy

Love Nivea, or Soft Nivea.... or Astral creme. Very hydrating and skin feels nourished!

16 ounces of la mer would last well over a year. 1 ounce lasts me 2 to 3 months. 1 ounce is only 180.00.

I always brought nivea to school skiing trips - it helped a LOT and now am realizing i might want to get it again. My grandma also always used it. And she was the prettiest, gorgeous woman. Yes, she aged, she had wrinkles. But she was always glowing. She was that fairytale grandma. Srsly. Now she is old and sick, but this brought sooo much memories. I now have to go and buy Nivea ❤

same. i have oily skin and a water based moisturizer breaks me out when it shouldn't because it doesn't have oil. this nivea creme doesn't break me out at all. it also feels super hydrating

It's interesting. When I was younger, I noticed it older women put it on their face all the time. They swore by it. Another thing they saw about is ponds cold cream. Some of the gals making videos like you have tried it and they love it. It works as good or better than the really expensive stuff. Another thing? Vanishing cream. Check it out.

I find it too thick and heavy. Maybe for my feet..but I use Shea butter and coconut cream on feet and knees. I use Dead Sea Scrolls Day and Night cream on face. Aldis has a cool skincare brand called Lacura that's nice. Rose and gyllcirin spray helps retain moisture on skin and hair.
